Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder Collection, Eyeshadow Palette & Highlighter, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wishing you a wonderful start in the week and the spooky month of November. What a buzz about Victoria Beckham's new make-up line in collaboration with Estée Lauder, right? I have been trying these out for a couple of weeks now and today I would like to share my thoughts about the Eyeshadow Palette and Highlighter.

If you are into make-up, you must have heard about Modern Mercury highlighter which is one of the discontinued classics of Estée Lauder line, created by no one else than Tom Pecheux, the Creative Make-Up Director of the company. The glorious come-back of this beauty in this very special packaging have certainly made many make-up lover's heart skip a beat. The Eyeshadow Palette is for the smoky eye lovers out there, including myself. Without further ado, here are some of my thoughts...

Chanel Le Rouge Collection, Caught in Action

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Today I had a half day so I thought I can share another collection with you which I am wearing very often at the moment, again a little later than expected. I got these more than a month ago but the products are still around in case you missed them. I would like to also hear what you picked up and what you are loving from Chanel Fall 2016 Collection Le Rouge No 1

When I heard about the name of the collection, I knew I had to get every single eye item because I love reddish hues on the eyes. I was not sure about the blush, although I almost always get the cheek color, this time it was very pigmented. Pigmented blushes make me look like a clown and in a bad way and I couldn't find the reason up to date why I can't pull off a blush look. I got the nail colors as well but still experimenting with these. The jelly one needs twice the time for drying, so not a fan. The classical cream red shade Le Vernis #528 Rouge Puissant is a lovely red for fall, very much enjoying it. I also picked up one of the new Rouge Allure Ink shades, #150 Luxuriant. All of my thoughts and an FOTD is after the jump.

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation, Multi-Perfection Concealer and Foundation Brush, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Due to long weekend, tomorrow is the first work day in Germany but for those of you who are not here, I hope that you had a great start in the week. I have to still get a few things ready for tomorrow, that will be after the post *winks*

This Fall Guerlain released a new formulation of their light to medium coverage foundation Lingerie de Peau. With the same release, a new concealer called Multi-Perfection is also added to the line as well as a Foundation Brush. I have been testing all three for some months now so I would like to share my thoughts with you.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Gloss #340, #430, #440, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. In Germany because of the reunification, this weekend is a long one although for me it made no difference since I am not teaching on Mondays. I am going through the pile of products I have been testing but didn't have the time to share with you. I would like to start with those which I tested thoroughly because for a whole day from morning to evening and even more than once. Victoria Beckham highlighter and eyeshadow palettes are also in test and hoping to write about it in a few days.

Back in July, Estée Lauder released liquid lip products in two lines, Pure Color Envy Sculpting Gloss and Lacquer. I am usually not a gloss girl but after trying three berry shades of the gloss line, I started wearing them quiet often, to the extend some of those ended up in my purse permanent lipstick collection. This brought back the memory of me flying to holiday this summer, when they had to check each and every lipstick in my purse to find out what was triggering the liquid detector and mind you there were more than 20. I was almost missing the flight!

Back to the glosses, today I have three shades to share with you, #340 Flirtatious Magenda, #430 Plum Jealousy and #440 Berry Provocative along with the FOTDs I wore the first week of the semester. Hope you like it.

My Must-Haves from Dior Skyline Fall 2016 Collection, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a great weekend. Last week was the first week of the lectures and there were some additional appointments so I ended up too exhausted to post but I am hoping to make it up for it by posting this weekend and possibly also on Monday. I was asked to review Sisley's new foundation to which I laid my hands on recently and tested during this week, waiting for a new shade in that one since it was too dark. I also took some photos of Guerlain's new Lingerie de Peau formulation and their new concealer, that might come very soon as I was testing it for a good while now. Suqqu's pre-Christmas collection is right now on test as well, hope to get it done during next week since the products will be released shortly. And I got my claws to some exciting pieces from the very exciting Victoria Beckham Collection of Estée Lauder *drum rolls*. I can't wait to show you these.

I haven't purchased any eye/lip products from Dior for so long. I usually only went for the nail polishes since I am kind of collecting them and I know from the page counts that my nail polish posts are much appreciated so I wanted to keep up with that. This fall there were four nail polishes and I ordered them sight unseen just to find out that they were all... shades of poo colors... ugh! Anyway, I don't know if I will have enough motivation to get a comparison post for these but surprisingly I am loving two other products I picked up from Dior Skyline Fall 2016 Collection so much that I thought I should let you know before they are gone. These are, Diorshow Mono Lustrous Smoky #794 Fever and a matching lipstick Dior Addict Mirror Shine #927 Sophisticated

RMK The Silver Screen Fall 2016 Collection, Swatch, Review & FOTD

I hope you had a great weekend and you are not too disappointed that it is over. Am I? Maybe just a little but as someone who just came back from holidays, I don't think I have the right to do so, booh.

Our living room is full of products I would like to share with you but they are mostly from Fall Collections and I know some blogs started with the Christmas Collection reviews. Nevertheless I am hoping to blog about the highlights, as these are still available or some are even just being released in Europe. Starting from tomorrow, I will start wearing make-up again, so I am hoping to share my FOTDs with you as well, although right now it is hard to get decent contrast on my face. You will see at the end of this post how tanned I am even though I tried my best with reapplying high SPF (read: every half an hour) and not going to the beach before 4pm but my complexion changes color by the merest of sun light. It will be fun to find a foundation tomorrow in the morning.

During my holidays, I rarely put on make-up but from the brands and products I took with me to take photos and test, one collection truly stood out, to the point that when I was traveling to Greece for a week with a tiny bag for both me and hubby, I only got these with me. It is the collection of RMK for Autumn/Winter 2016, called The Silver Screen, inspired by the old Hollywood movies. You can check the full range of products here. There is also a lovely movie there if you have time.

Here are my thoughts & swatches of the products from the collection I got to test...

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Lotion, Review

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

This is how I always started. I thought it would be appropriate before I cautiously, tiptoeing start to write a new blog post. You might have or have not noticed that I was missing for sometime. After over three years of constant blogging, I know some of you were worried about me and I feel flattered from the e-mails I received, those which I recently got to read. I intend to give some apologies right after the jump but first about today's post.

I have been to holiday, yes, I had been testing lots of products, those which happened to be mostly skin care since over 30ºC I rarely wear makeup to the beach. Now that I am back for only a couple of weeks, I would like to share some of my thoughts with you on my favorites. Let's start with La Mer's new product, The Moisturizing Soft Lotion. Hubby got this one on mail when I was away and brought it with him to the Mediterranean Coast I was residing. Heaven sent if you ask me, details are as below, photos are taken in the region...

Chanel Empreinte du Désert Quadra Eyeshadow Palette for Summer 2016, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Do you also have the feeling that this week is going so fast? Without I knew it, Wednesday is over. Scary since I still need to work on the exams. Tomorrow I need to buckle up it seems. I had been busy with catching up with the blog and watching European Soccer Championship. Congratulations to Portugal who just won a ticket to the final. We are hoping that Germany will be their opponent, which will be decided tomorrow after a match between Germany and France.

Chanel's Summer Collection is out for some time. I have reviewed the nail polishes previously here.  Since then I was enjoying the eye shadow palette from the same collection, called Chanel Empreinte du Désert Quadra Eyeshadow Palette. The palettes from their Eye Can Be Collection were rather a disappointment for me, you can see my review of Chanel Les 4 Ombres #272 Tissé Dimensions here
Empreinte du Désert on the other hand had been the most worn quad in my stash since a month so I thought I need to let you know, in case you missed it. If you haven't then here is an eye look which could maybe inspire you in one way or another. Without further ado, here is my review...

Aerin Rose de Grasse Eau de Parfum, Review

I would like to start by wishing you a fantastic week. It is almost hump day yay! I am having a few days off before the exams start and I am so enjoying it at the moment. Today I had some sparkling wine with our super nice neighbors. If you remember back then one of them, obviously not the same one, were trying to sue us while we were going through a leakage problem. Today it was refreshing to see that that one was rather an exception, although sometimes one bug is enough to scratch you.

Lifestyle brand of Estée Lauder's grand daughter, Aerin has a fragrance line which is inspired by fabrics. I have previously reviewed Amber Musk (here), Mediterranean Honeysuckle and Iris Meadow (here). Lately Aerin added the first premium fragrance to her line, Aerin Rose de Grasse Eau de Parfum, about which I would like to share my thoughts today.

Bobbi Brown Beach Nudes Sunkissed Palette Nude, Luxe Lip Color #37 Bobbi, Nude Finish Illuminating Powder in Bare, Swatch, Review & FOTD

Hi there everyone! *waves* I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am just finished with the lectures and slowly getting back to schedule on everything which I had to give up for the last couple of weeks, such as blogging and sports. I still have to prepare the exams but hoping to get them done during this week. I have been testing so many pretties lately because doesn't matter how packed my schedule is, I always go out with a full face makeup, nothing heavy but with eyes, lips and cheeks done over a foundation. For the next weeks I would like to share all the pretties I have been using lately. Hope you like the posts, although some of them are not the latest news, until I catch up.

I would like to start with three products from Bobbi Brown. The brand has been updating their lines lately and I am really loving their new products such as their Brightening Bricks (#2 Coral reviewed here) and Luxe Lip Colors (Pale Mauve and Hibiscus are reviewed here). Recently they came up with Bobbi Brown Nude Finis Illuminating Powders. These are very similar to Chanel Les Beiges Powders and can be used all over, as bronzer or contouring depending on the shade you select. I tried these in color Bare. For the Beach Nudes Collection there are three gorgeous eye palettes. Today I would like to share my thoughts on Nude and I have one more Luxe Lip Color, which I am utterly in love with. I can't find it anywhere online at the moment and believe that it is from an upcoming release. It is #37 Bobbi, after Bobbi herself. Spoiler, it is a nude which is to die for Without further ado, here is my review...

RMK Summer 2016 Collection, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Friday! As I started typing these lines, you can't imagine how much water was pouring from the sky. I have never seen such a rain, it is almost as intense as someone pouring a bucket onto your head with the exception that he is doing it over the whole city. This Spring has been very rainy in Germany. I don't know how you are coping up with it where you are living. People even died here, be it a thunder strike or a flood. Lastly they even had to cancel the rest of the shows at a rock festival.

I have some color for you today. RMK's Summer Collection made me sigh when I saw the packaging of those, colorful and metallic tubes, they almost look like edible, beauty blogger kind of bonbons. I love the fact that Japanese Make-up is geared towards sun protection and water resistance as far as Summer Collections go. I am hoping we see more products with UV protection from Western Brands for summer as well. I tested three shades of RMK Lip Care Color UV Sticks for you as well as two shades of RMK Crayon Color Eyes and a limited edition color of their phenomenal blushes RMK Ingenious Powder Cheeks. Here are my thoughts about them.

Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette, Review, Swatch & FOTD

The week started fast, it is that time of the year, we are late as usual and trying to rush our tax declaration. This year since I became a civil servant, it started to get more complicated. We probably need help since we are both so clueless and also very unmotivated to fill out the forms. There are those people who are on top of the game and know how to make cents but I'd rather play with make-up.

Due to organisational complications, I received 20th year Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette a little later so this might not be the hottest news out there but still I liked one of the eye looks I have done with it worthy of sharing. I am super excited about Alice in Wonderland Collection and hoping those come to Germany. I am a big fan of Lewis Carroll and own early copies of his books which I collected some time ago. One make-up matches with my interests, I can't help but get excited. But first, here are my thoughts about the first Vice Palette I have tested from the brand.

Chanel Les 4 Ombres #272 Tissé Dimensions, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Wish you all a wonderful weekend. Today in Stuttgart it is raining so much that we are about to convince ourselves that with global heating a tropical weather is about to be established over the ski resorts just a few hundred kilometers away. Wouldn't that be fun?

Chanel recently brought out a collection for eyes with three new eye shadow Les 4 Ombres palettes and Stylo Eyeshadows. Although I own all the Stylos released up to date but I decided to skip these this time around because in the morning I forget not to apply it near the eyes, like on my water line and end up burning my eyes. I also don't want something around my eyes which irritates them if it gets in, no thanks.

This left me pretty much with the palettes. I was about to get all three of them because you know I am such a fan of Chanel's recent eye shadow formula. I purchased all of their palettes from the permanent line up. I was about to order all three. That was before I stumbled upon a discussion at Instagram. Some make-up enthusiasts were not so delighted with the formula of these and they wrote that these are much different than the permanent palettes which were released two years ago. Needless to say I got very curious but decided to play it safe and get one of the new offers, Chanel Les 4 Ombres #272 Tissé Dimensions, to find out if they indeed had another formula. After testing this one out for a week on several days, here are my thoughts.

Soleil de La Mer The Bronzing Powder, Review, Swatch & FOTD

It is finally Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I haven't even made it to downtown for so many weeks, so I guess it will be another working weekend for me. But the good news is that there is less than four weeks left, so yay, counting back to keep the motivation high. I am also planning to spend six weeks by the sea side, the thought of it keeps me hanging on.

For the last couple of weeks I have been enjoying one of the most gorgeous bronzers of all time, Soleil de La Mer Bronzing Powder. On my skin tone it is something between a bronzer and a Belle Mine Powder which became a thing recently after various luxury brands such as Chanel, Guerlain and Givenchy launched their versions. I have a comparison in terms of shade and texture at the end of this post too, hope it is helpful for those who can't say no to such a pretty product. A little spoiler though, this one is more than a pretty face.

Sisley Paris Super Soin Solaire Youth Protector & Tinted Sun Care Review, Swatch & Comparison

Would you believe, it is almost half week. I am counting backwards from four more weeks to go. The end of semester is always getting very busy. It had been a hell of a ride for the first year. I am hoping to get things settled by after mid July. I can't express enough gratitude to those who are having around. I am doing my best to hang in there too.

I had been testing the new products from Sisley's  Super Soin Solaire line. To me Sisley is a brand with few but very fine products. For instance they only have two eye shadow quads but they are both exceptional (#1 Dream is reviewed here) or they have two shades from their gorgeous L'orchidee Blush (Rose reviewed here) but they are both my most used blushes since they deliver both in terms of longevity, pigment and blendability. I am also loving their skin care, I have to admit even more than their color products. Black Rose Face Oil full stop! Nothing more to say. This is why I am very excited to share my thoughts with you today after I tested their new tinted moisturizer and sun screen, right after the jump.

Guerlain My Super Tips: Stop Spot, Super Lips, Midnight Secret, Créme SOS and Radiance in a Flash, Review

I wish you all a wonderful weekend. I have to buckle up and get ready for next week's classes since I was not able to work as much as I would like to during the Spring Break. Before I start with that I thought I would like to share my thoughts on a new skin care release by Guerlain. It is a fresh breath, a new idea. I am excited to hear what you think of it too.

Guerlain released five new skin care products, each in 15ml sizes and colorful tubes. They are aimed for a variety of issues from dry lips to spots or dull skin and each cost around 29€ in Germany. The idea making younger generation familiar with high end skin care while providing the others with handy tubes you can toss in your bag and carry around. I think the idea works in some of the products better than the others. I have been testing them for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts.

Chanel Dans La Lumière L'Été Summer Collection Nail Polishes, Review, Swatch & Comparison

I am wishing you all a wonderful Friday. Finally the problems with the search engine is solved. It had been a hell of a ride recently, which also prevented me from writing posts. I am hoping to make it up for it although until the exams week in the beginning to July, I might be slow. Thanks so much to those who are still hanging there. Big hugs for the commenters too, these make my day although I can rarely answer. I will try to get to that soon.

Chanel's Summer Collection Dans La Lumière L'Été is recently released in Germany. Each year I fell out of love with Les Beiges powders so this year I decided to skip these. I went for the eye shadow palette which I will also show you soon and of course for the nail polishes. There are five new nail polishes in their new Long Lasting formula. These are not listed as limited edition so I am guessing that they will extend the Long Lasting Le Vernis Collection. It is still not clear of the regular Le Vernis is discontinued. Here are the swatches, thoughts and comparisons of Chanel Le Vernis Long Wear Nail Color in #532 Canter,  #524 Turban, #534 Espadrilles, #536 Emeraude and #526 Cavaliere.

Suqqu Summer 2016 Eye & Cheek Color Compacts, Color Balm Crayons, Review, Swatch & FOTD

The past week has been a roller coaster on blog front. About two weeks ago my slider stopped working so I contacted the designer. She told me that there is a new version of the theme which I installed but during the new installation a few things went wrong. Long story short not only Google Analytics code was missing but somehow Google took my blog out of their search engine. I recognized the problem thanks to a lovely reader who let me know at Instagram. This was why my page counts were taking a hit. I think I located the problem (robots.txt file) but it might take up to a week for the search engines to index it properly. Let's hope for the best.

Suqqu is releasing their world wide Summer 2016 Collection this week. The release date was given to be today but I haven't seen the products on Selfridges online shop yet. The collection consists of two Eye & Cheek Color Compacts, Ex-01 Rikkakou and Ex-02 Natsuyuuka, two matching lipsticks in crayon format, called Color Balm Crayons Ex-01 Suzubeni and Ex-02 Tsuyasango. There are also two matching nail polishes. The collection goes with a cool pink theme on one hand and a warmer green theme on the other. It is inspired by Awaseiro, traditional color combinations for Kimonos. without further ado, here are my thoughts on the products I have been testing.

Narciso Poudrée Eau de Parfum For Woman, Review

Happy hump day. I can't believe the week is almost over. Contrary to many of you, I'd rather have it longer since I don't have lectures this week. Ah, good times are soon over. The problems on blog front goes on. I would like to write again, in case you are having any problems seeing the content please let me know.

Recently Narciso Rodriguez added a third fragrance to Narciso line. I have previously reviewed Narciso EdP here and Narciso EdT here. The former being gardenia&rose and the latter peony take on to the signature musky heart. The new fragrance Narciso Poudrée Eau de Parfum is yet an interesting creation. It has to be my favourite among the three. So much for spoilers, onto the thoughts...

MAC Vibe Tribe Collection, My Picks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope your week started wonderfully. This week we have a so called Spring Holiday, hence no lectures. I am using it to prepare the rest of the lectures I have until the end of June. This year has been so hectic, I feel like I already deserve a summer holiday!

By the way for those of you who carefully observed that some things have changed on the blog front, you are right. I was using a slider, one that showed some photos of the recent posts on the top of the page, then it started not working so I contacted the designer. She offered me that I install the new version of the theme but I lost all my fonts and the slider has some problems at the moment. Also the page counts dropped dramatically since I changed to the new look. I am not sure if it is because of people not being able to see it properly and close it? If you are having problems with this one please let me know and I will check that out.

Let's get back to make up. Today I would like to show you my picks from MAC's main summer collection Vibe Tribe. I am usually not big on summer collections but I think within MAC limited collections, summer had always been an highlight for me. Last Year's Wash & Dry Collection (reviewed here and here) as well as legendary Alluring Aquatic Collection (here and here) were all summer collections after all. All in all I found this year's collection a bit of a let down once compared to the last two years but there were still gems in there. Here are my thoughts about the pieces I picked up.

Tom Ford Soleil Collection for Summer 2016, My Picks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are all doing fine. I am so glad to be able to make it to this week since next week I will have a week off the lectures. This semester have been very busy so if you are still hanging around, I am very grateful about it *big hugs*. On top of all that came extra stress about a (good!) citizen being too sensitive about someone driving over red by mistake on a perfectly empty night traffic.

I am so positive and happy about the week off that I want to share pretty things with you today. I have been enjoying my picks from Tom Ford Summer Collection for the last two weeks. I almost explicitly used products from this collection recently so I believe if you are still pondering about what to get, this might be of help. I have Bicoastal Sheer Cheek Duo, The Afternooner Contouring Compact, Ultra Rick Lip Colors in Aphrodite, Purple Noon and Temptation Waits as well as Blanc Soleil Eau de Perfume. Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour, Nudes & Vamps, Review, Swatch & Comparisons

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I have been silent lately, due to circumstances I explained during the last post, I didn't feel like writing something cheerful. In between I came to terms with being very tired and not seeing a red light. People are not machines but the system should be able to ignore exceptions. I drive since years and I hardly have speed ticket. Unfortunately for some people rules are more important than anything else. I will close this subject here and then. I have never been a soldier of rules *sigh*.

Chanel recently released ten new shades with a new formula called Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour. I swatched and compared the pinks and the reds here. Today I would like to share my thoughts about the nudes and the vamps. The shades I am going to show you are: #504 Organdi, #514 Roubachka, #516 Mariniére, #522 Monochrome, #520 Garçonne.

Hugo Boss Woman Extreme, Man Extreme Eau de Parfum, Review

I hope your weekend and the start of the week was better than mine. I had a big shock on the weekend as I received a mail with a remark that they are taking away my drivers license for a month because some stupid guy on the street decided to call the police for me violating a red light and later on insisted to press charge against me. I am a super careful driver who drive actively over ten years and has no record of any charges, yet one person's word seem to be enough for taking away my license? If I get a lawyer, I have to pay around a thousand bucks on top of that. I am without words for how the system works *shakes head* and I have no memory of violating anything!

So you know why I was so silent once again on the weekend. Today I am back with two new releases. Hugo Boss revamped their signature perfumes, both female and male version. I have to admit that I used the male version of this for a few months after a friend left it to me when she was returning back to her country. I love the original Hugo Boss Man EdP.  Here are my thoughts on the Extreme versions.

Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder Pink Glow, Blush Duo Sand Pink/Pale Pink & Nourishing Lip Color #15 Berry, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wish you a wonderful weekend. Next week I will have a half week thanks to a public holiday on Thursday so I am gliding through the weekend more or less, delaying everything I have to do until Wednesday, human nature. It also started getting warmer in Germany. Last week it snowed!

I acquired some products from Bobbi Brown recently which I would like to share with you today. The brand released a number of collections and new formulas. From Beach Nudes Collection Highlighting Powder Pink Glow caught my eye with its unique two shaded appearance. Shortly after Malibu Nudes Collection hit the stores with very chic Nude Finishing Powders and Blush Duos. I got to test the Blush Duo in Sand Pink/Pale Pink from that collection which I would like to share with you today. For the lips there is a new formula called Nourishing Lip Color Oil-Infused Shine. I have #15 Berry to show you today.

Chanel Le Vernis Long Wear Nail Colour Reds, Review, Swatch & Comparison

Happy Friday! Between the dying flowers and some free work days I managed to put together some posts. The biggest challenge had been the flowers really. How come some of them die the next day before I can snap a few photos *shakes head*

Chanel reformulated their nail polishes and as usual these were released in the States like months ago. You can tell that I am slightly frustrated to keep up with the new releases in Germany, especially from Chanel. Most of the other brands are keeping up their dates rather close across the globe. These are made in France so I can't help but wonder why our neighbours keep sending it across the ocean instead of letting us have some of that *frowns*.

There are ten new shades as well as some of the classical shades being rereleased in the new long wearing formula. I have purchased the new shades. I would like to share the first five of them with you today. These are Chanel Le Vernis Long Wear Nail Color #500 Rouge Essentiel, #506 Camélia, #508 Shantung, #510 Gitane and #512 Mythique. I am working on the comparison swatches of the other five which I will soon report about. I am glad that I could also give three of these a long week's test. My thoughts are after the jump...

I hope you had a great start to the week. I was a bit sleep deprived during the weekend so I was like in a dream all day. And it is so cold right now in Germany, you wouldn't believe when I say it snowed? I don't know what is wrong with weather really. I am also concerned about the birds who are back. I hope it gets better soon.

I have been testing new skin care launches from Clarins, two of which I would like to share with you today, Clarins Multi-Active Jour and Multi-Active Nuit. In case you are located in Germany or Austria, there is also a give-away at the end of this post which you may like to enter.

Dior Polka Dots Colour & Dots Manicure Kits, Swatch & Review

Surprise, it is me! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and still hanging around after a week's silence. I am so sorry for that. I might be on and off until the end of June, that is two more months but I promise to become extra active after that to make up for the things and hoping to see you all and read your comment especially during this very busy period when I try extra hard to get the reviews up. I worked hard yesterday for the blog, swatched tens of nail polishes and took lots of photos so hoping to be able to post more often this week and the week after that. Fingers crossed.

Dior's Summer 2016 Collection makes me sing "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini". I love the theme of the collection, Polka Dots but honestly I had a very hard time finding something to purchase. I ended up with three of the nail polish sets including a doting tool and two small sized (7 ml instead of 10ml) nail polishes. Other than that? Unfortunately eye shadow formula is not calling me and lip products are not very exciting either. I was thinking about getting one of the bronzers, one with pinks in it but those are permanent so can wait a little. Have you picked up anything? Any suggestions? My thoughts and swatches of Manicure kits are right after the jump.

Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadows Ex-30, Ex-31, Creamy Glow Lipstick Ex-20, Ex-21 for UK Exclusive Summer Color Collection, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wish you all a wonderful week! I am super busy but there are very exciting new collections from Suqqu, which I simply can't wait to show you. I would like to start with UK Exclusive Summer Collection inspired by Japanese playful color combinations called Kasaneiro and Aweseiro. A quick research revealed different colors to be layered, for example worn by woman as kimonos over each other.

There are two Blend Color Eyeshadow Palettes (Ex-30 Hekikai, Ex-31 Gyoukou) and two Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist (Ex-20 Hyaku Daidai, Ex-21 Sen Ka) in this collection together with an Extra Volume Mascara with waterproof formula. Today I would like to share my thoughts on the eye shadow palettes and lipsticks.

RMK UV Liquid Foundation, Color Correcting Base & Long Lasting UV, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wishing you all a beautiful Sunday. Since I started teaching on Mondays, for me Sunday ended to be a working day. My weekend starts earlier though since I don't have classes on Fridays. I don't know which is better because it is hard to work on a Friday if you know what I mean so I end up delaying all the work to Sunday.

I have been testing RMK's latest liquid foundation, UV Liquid Foundation which comes with a whooping SPF 50+, PA +++. The base collection also includes a Long Lasting UV with SPF 45, PA ++++ (bring it on!) and four shades of Basic Color Control bases. The latest color correcting madness was almost going past me so I am happy to catch the trend by this post. Without further ado, my thoughts are after the jump.

Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant 07 Raspberry, 03 Guava, Joli Baume Lip Balm and Eclat Minute Lip Perfecting Base, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a lovely and productive week. I am badly lacking behind the posts and for the first time in three years, I haven't posted over a week. I hope you will be patient with me from April to the end of June. This semester I have many courses to teach, some of them I am teaching for the first time. Moreover I happened to get involved in many projects at once, some of these are due to sheer luck so I couldn't plan accordingly but I didn't want to miss the opportunity.

When I was away last week, I also happened to miss the 3rd blog anniversary. It was the 1st of April. I can't believe that I am doing this for so long. Back in 2013, after six months of home stay due to health issues, I got into make-up to distract my mind. I always liked make-up even back in high school but I was never that much obsessed with it, read the amount of make-up I had could be used up in a year or two. During the last three years, I learned so many new things from how to judge a formula of an eye shadow or lipstick to how to take product photos. I am still in learning process though and this is one of the reasons why I keep doing it. Being the editor-in-chief, the photographer, PR contact and social media expert of such a tiny project called Color Me Loud still excites me today. I would like to thank all the readers for keeping up with me and making it such a pleasant experience as the humble blog which I started three years ago is expected to reach 5 million page views in a few months.

I have been testing some new lip products from Clarins last week. The brand released a new sheer glossy lipstick Joli Rouge Brilliant after the revamped their Joli Rouge packaging and formula last Fall (review of Rose Berry is here). Together with this release they also introduced a Lip Perfecting Base to Eclat Minute line. My thoughts and some swatches are after the jump.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad #04 Honeymoon, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Hoping that you all had a wonderful weekend. Yesterday night we met with some old friends and went for a cocktail. The weather started to get nice and warm here so after that we took a walk at night at the city center. It was a nice evening, it reminded me that there is a life outside the house *cough cough*

I know that Tom Ford Summer started to arrive blogosphere and it can even be purchased right now in the States. Here in Europe though, we are getting Tom Ford with lots of delay. Tom Ford Spring arrived at the stores just two weeks ago. It gives the feeling of living in an island in the middle of Pacific which no on can locate on a map. Thanks for loving us Europeans Tom!

Long story short, you might know that I have a Blog Series about Tom Ford Quads so I am trying to review all of them. I have reviewed two of the new Quads: Last Dance (here) and Disco Dust (here). I will try to get the remaining two quads soon as well. From five of the new releases, Honeymoon was the only one with wet&dry formula, similar to Enchanted, Emerald Lust and Nude Dip (reviewed here). This formula is praised and it certainly deserves it. Here are my thoughts, some looks and swatches.

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes, Swatch, Review & FOTD

I wish you all a wonderful week. After the summer time change, somehow my rhythm is messed up a bit. I have problems waking up in the morning and going to bed on time. Each time I ask myself what good does winter/summer time still do. I guess no one knows the answer. Do you like changing the time?

Since 80s, Guerlain is on top of the bronzer game. This year, with Terracotta Collection, the brand adds four new shades to their line-up, #00 Clair Blondes, #04 Moyen Blondes, #07 Fonce Doré and  #09 Intense. I am excited to try the lightest shade #00 Clair Blondes, not because I am very blonde but because I like a subtle bronzer and I always found Terracotta Bronzers to be a bit too dramatic on me. I therefore like their Terracotta Four Seasons line better. Here are my thoughts and comparison swatches of Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #00 Clair Blondes.

Clinique Spring Look feat. Lid Pop, Cheek Pop and Pop Glaze, #Playwithpop, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Easter holidays!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. In Germany we have an extended weekend which means Friday and Monday are also holidays. Since I have much to do for the new semester, I have to work today but I am still enjoying the feeling of having tomorrow free.

Clinique recently released bunch of new products such as sheer lipsticks called Pop Glaze and lip glosses called Pop Lacquers. Cheek Pops have been a phenomenon since years in the States but we didn't have them at shops in Germany (I believe some were online exclusives). With this release, they are also easily accessible. Matching to the flower theme, now there are Lid Pops for your eyes too. Clinique promoted the products in four looks on new Swedish star Zara Larsson. There are vamp, sweet, nude and power looks to select from. (see them here) You wouldn't believe that I went for sweet! Here is my interpretation of that and some thoughts about the products I got to try.

Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle & Iris Meadow Eau de Parfum, Review

I wish you a lovely Friday. Unfortunately mine started a bit cra(m)ppy so all day lying around and watching stupid videos is my kind of day today.

This post was scheduled for yesterday evening but when  I was driving home from the university, one of my tires got flat on the highway. It was not fun but I was very lucky that it happened right on time when I was reducing my speed to take an exit. In Germany on some of the highways there is no speed limit so you can imagine how it would end up if I would be pushing the gas pedal on the left most lane. *Sigh*. I called the service and they towed the car. Since it is Easter Holidays at the moment, I have to wait a few days for them to fix it. Have you ever got a flat tire on the high way?

Last Spring I have reviewed Amber Musk Eau de Perfume from Aerin Lauder's lifestyle brand Aerin. Perfumes are inspired by fabric designs from her line and I found them to be grown-up office proper scents. Their stone like lids and golden details of the flacon make them a stunner over your vanity as well. Lately three new scents are added to the collection, two of which I would like to introduce you today. Here are my thoughts about Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle and Iris Meadow.

Suqqu Sheer Glow Liquid, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Monday and Tuesday is always very busy for me but this week I am taking a home office tomorrow, so much yay for that! Love having a breakfast at home in lazy home outfit, luxury of the week. That said I am very disappointed with all the terror attacks around the world during the last week and today, I am very sorry to hear the one in Brussels. I am hoping that everyone comes to their senses and stop this nonsense. Innocent people are dying on bad luck. Terror has always been very nasty but this must be one of the ugliest moments in history of terror.

One of the specialities of a beauty blog must have been its focus, no matter what. You might find it disrespectful to the victims but I think it just shows that the life goes on and can't be spoiled by terror. Suqqu will release their Spring Base Collection this Thursday (24th of March), featuring Suqqu Sheer Glow Liquid, which is a color correcting, highlighting primer. I would like to share my thoughts with you after using and loving it for a few months now.

Maria Galland, Collection Corail for Spring/Summer 2016, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wish you a wonderful weekend. Yesterday we drove some miles for the birthday party of my mother-in-law (which was really a nice party) and drove back in the middle of the night so I am getting back to working today after sleeping until noon. See, it is such a dilemma not to have time to write while working but having time to actually wear make-up. During my break I had lots of time but I didn't feel like wearing make-up while sitting in my pyjamas at home.

I thought this weekend I go with brands which I haven't covered before. If you haven't seen yesterday's Natasha Denona eyeshadow review, check here. Today I have Maria Galland's Spring/Summer Collection for you. I haven't tried anything from this brand but the blush/bronzer duo, Maria Galland #20 Voile D'Été Bronzing Blush Duo, stole my heart and thought I would give it a go. I also got to try their lipsticks in two formulas, one is a long lasting gloss and it is lovely. My thoughts are right after the jump.

Are Natasha Denona Eyeshadows worth the hype? Palettes #2 and #10 Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday. Since the semester just started, I had a super busy week so couldn't post until today. I was planning to write this post yesterday but I was too tired to do anything else than just laying on the couch and watching some YouTube videos. Eventually I must have fallen asleep. Tomorrow we are attending the 60th birthday of my mother in law. We have to drive around 2.5 hours from here. I am excited about the celebration but I am hoping to be able to get enough rest until Monday so the second week can start.

Some of you send me messages and e-mails asking if I will be reviewing Natasha Denona Eyeshadows. I ordered two of the quints, Eyeshadow Palette 5, #2 and #10 to try out and wore them multiple times during last week and weekend. I hope my thoughts are helpful for some. They are... right after the jump.

Burberry Nail Polish #440 Optic White, #304 Black Cherry for Spring/Summer 2016 Runway, Review, Swatch & Comparisons

I wish you a wonderful Sunday. It is officially the last day of my holiday, time flies. Today I am planning to give home made gel nails a go. I was recently sent a curing device to test. It is supposed to cure both UV and LED nail polish, not that I know what they are. I am such a newbie in this. I ordered OPI Base and Top Coat and one Soak-off Gel Nail Polish. I hope I am not off with my orders. My nails are not in a bad shape at the moment and I wore the last regular nail polish for a week. I wonder if gel nail polish would bring anything at this point but I got so curious and had to try it. I am a little scared that it will effect my nails badly. Have you tried gel? Any tips and tricks?

I usually don't go for nail polish posts on Sundays but yesterday my eyes got very sensitive after trying out new make-up. I don't know if it was the eye shadow or the mascara, have yet to find out. This is why I need to give a break for a day or two. A fun (or not that fun) fact is that after a celebration for our wedding, my eyes got so swollen from make-up, I almost couldn't see and had to go back home. This is part of the reason why I invest for high-end make-up because the probability of me getting sensitive, scratchy or swollen is way lower.

Burberry's Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Collection is going strong. The gorgeous powders which I reviewed recently are sold out online in Germany one day after they were released. Now I am kicking myself not to get a back-up of the white one. A lovely reader *waves at Christina* mentioned that the white highlighter is the same as their wet & dry eye shadows in Optic White so I might go ahead and order that one as a replacement.

Today I would like to share my thoughts, some swatches and comparison swatches of two of the nail polishes of the collection. There is a third one, Stone, which I already have. It is a gorgeous Trench Coat kind of shade. The new shades are a white and a deep vampy red, you can see them right after the jump...

Guerlain Abeille Royale Honey Smile Lift Lip & Contour Sculpting Treatment, Review

I am wishing you all a great start in the weekend. I can't believe that I have used up all my free days and now semester is starting *cries*. At least I could concentrate and work relatively good during the last couple of days so let's hope that the following four months won't be too hectic.

Recently Guerlain added a lip treatment product to their Abeille Royale line. For those who are not familiar with the line, it is composed of anti-aging products based on natural substances, such as bee products. Honey Smile Lift is supposed to lift, plump and make contours more defined. I tested it for you and here are my thoughts.

Burberry Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Palettes, Cream Color Eyeshadow in Nude Gold, Kohl in Golden Brown, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful week. After a whole week wasted for some unknown reason, I came to my senses and managed to motivate myself at home. It was not easy but it worked, probably due to pressure. I hate getting motivated with pressure but it is the most effective way, isn't it? Oh and I also brought my bag back today to show and I was told Burberry doesn't repair bags but they don't know what they do with them. We will see. They told me usually there is not complaints about any bags they sold, I was very unlucky. I am hoping that is true.

Talking about Burberry, I have the most gorgeous highlighters of the year in terms of design and performance. It must sound like a spoiler but I am officially in love. I today had it on my face and cheek bones, it is so stunning. But let me go into a bit more detail about Burberry Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Palettes #01 White, #02 Nude Gold as well as Burberry Eye Colour Cream #121 Nude Gold and Effortless Blendable Kohl #03 Golden Brown. There are also three nail polishes in the collection, Stone, a repromote and two new shades #440 Optic White and #304 Black Cherry. I will write about the nails in a separate post.

MAC Charlotte Olympia, Starlett Scarlet Lipstick, Sepia Cream Color Base, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a wonderful start in the week. Monday is over, rest will follow. Don't they say starting is the halfway to the finish line (or something like that)? I'd rather have 8-9 days to this week though since the semester is about to start and I am not finished with getting ready. If I am unprepared, I won't be able to blog all that much during the next three months *sighs*

Around this time of the year MAC releases a designer collaboration which is exclusive to Breuninger in Germany so it is one of the rare chances when I got to swatch and play with the items. Last year MAC teamed up with renowned hat designer Philip Treacy (reviewed here), this year it is Charlotte Olympia, British shoe and accessories designer. I have tested one of the three lipsticksStarlett Scarlet and one of the two Cream Color Bases in Sepia. My thoughts are right after the jump.

Dior Vernis #656 Cosmic, #676 Cruise & #765 Ultradior for Addict Ultragloss Collection, Review, Swatch & Comparison

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I was a bit more productive today and managed to snap some photos of the new nail polishes from Dior which are released together with the new lipgloss line, Dior Addict Ultragloss. These are not yet available in Germany but I expect them to be out anytime soon. There are three shades of corals and pinks, so nothing really earth shaking there but they made a nice job imitating the different lipgloss finishes as nail polishes. I also got to try the matching gloss to the shade Cosmic and I really liked the consistency. It was pigmented and not sticky. It lasted well for a gloss. As a side note Dior earrings I purchased in Berlin, I am loving them so much right now, even more than my Tribales. These are called Secret Cannage Earrings. They are more comfortable to wear as the earlobe is not pressed too much. Very much recommended.

Back to the nail polishes shall we? Here are some swatches and comparisons of Dior Vernis #656 Cosmic, #676 Cruise and #765 Ultradior. Hope they are helpful.
