Tom Ford Solar Exposure, Shade & Illuminate Lips & Cheeks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Easter! Hope most of you are enjoying the wonderful long weekend. It has been rainy here recently but the temperatures are mild and pleasant. Cherry trees are already in full bloom, a sight to see. There is one right across our window, can't get enough watching it.

I have already mentioned that I ordered third Tom Ford Soleil Eye and Cheek Palette, called #03 Solar Exposure together with my bulk Suqqu order from Selfridges around a month ago. I would like to share my thoughts a little earlier but I wasn't sure if I made the best out of this palette because it didn't look as well as the other two (reviewed here) on me. So today is the day I am sharing my thoughts about it, together with one of the Shade & Illuminate Lips and Cheeks as well. I have been testing Tom Ford Summer Collection for a few weeks as well and I will catch up with the review of that very soon, but first Spring, right after the jump.

Suqqu UK Exclusive Summer 2017 Collection, Review, Full Swatches & FOTD

Hope you all had lovely weekend and that yours was more productive than mine. I would like to get a few more posts done but sometimes killing time is my biggest talent together with some lady days that suck away all my energy and make me want to stay in bed all day.

All right too much information there, let me smoothly move the subject onto these lovelies that are about to be released. I know that many of my readers were very pleased with the previous Suqqu UK exclusives releases that are designed by Jorge Balzaretti since those usually have cooler shades in unusual combinations of more vivid colors. UK Exclusive Summer 2017 Collection is the first one with the new formula quads but it definitely preserves the spirit of the previous releases.

I have been playing with them for a few weeks now, my thoughts and swatches are right after the jump.

Jo Malone London Star Magnolia Review

Having a Jo Malone London blast, hence right after writing about Bloomsbury Collection, I would like to share my thoughts with you about the new limited edition launch Star Magnolia that will be released in the beginning of May.

It is a very different direction than the boozy woody and very heady fragrances of Bloomsbury, Star Magnolia is a lovely soft floral like an ocean breeze on a summer day. You can find my thoughts and more information about this release right after the jump.

Jo Malone London Whisky & Cedarwood and Blue Hyacinth for Bloomsbury Collection, Review

Wishing you a wonderful week right before it starts. Jo Malone London's Bloomsbury Collection that is recently released was for me one of the most inspiring collections from the brand for a very long time. I remember getting almost as excited about Rock The Ages (reviewed here) and ending up with four of the five fragrances back then. Bloomsbury Collection was inspired by the Bloomsbury Group, which is an influential group of associated English writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists, just to name a few Vanessa Bell, Virginia Woolf and Lytton Strachey. They were meeting in a farm house in Sussex called Charleston Farmhouse. Fragrances in this collection are inspired by this house and its parts such as the pond, the garden, the library.

After taking photos of Whiskey & Cedarwood and Blue Hyacinth, I went ahead and ordered Leather & Artemisia and I would like to share my thoughts about all three of these fragrances although you can only see how pretty two of them look together. I am blown away with how unique two of these three fragrances are and the third one does a great job in combination with the other two. More details are right after the jump.

Clarins Contouring Perfection for Spring 2017, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. After the first two weeks of the semester is over, I am getting back on track. Summer Collections started showing up so it is time to wrap up my thoughts about the lovelies I was testing from Spring Collections. I have made so many photos recently since the new semester started, can't wait to share them with you and hear your thoughts.

Clarins released two Spring Collections, the regular one called Contouring Perfection focuses on sculpting the face with contour/blush/highlight duo while keeping the rest of the face fresh and springy. There is a very interesting and innovative product for those who are into liners in that one. The second one was about every day easy to use lip and blush duo, composed of three shades of Skin Illusion Blushes and lip balm in new limited edition packaging. I would like to share my thoughts on both of them in this post, right after the jump.
