Burberry Cream Color For Eyes, #100 Gold Copper, #106 Pink Heather, #102 Mink, #110 Damson, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a lovely week. Wish you all a happy Xmas and a great new year's eve. I am traveling at the moment, visiting family and friends. I thought I check in to say hi and celebrate your holidays too. We have been non stop eating for three days and it will go on like this two more days. Then there will be a small break until new year's eve. This year we will be home on the 31st to enjoy a self made dinner and a view of fireworks. Before we started driving three days ago, I received super pretty make-up from upcoming collection. I can't wait to go back and try all of these out.

Oh on a small note, I love love Guerlain Parure Gold Fluid Foundation (reviewed here) and have been wearing it non-stop. I also took it with me but today in the morning I have noticed that I ran out of it. Shoot! The bottle is black and there is no means to see how much in there. And worse, that is the only foundation I took with me *sniff sniff*. I set it flat on a table and hoping I have a little more in the morning which would last me until our return. I just need it two more days *cries*. Oh and not to mention, here everywhere is closed until Monday. They should really improve those bottles. This was unacceptable.

I have been enjoying Burberry Cream Eyeshadow for some months now but waited for the additional pieces to enter my collection before I review it so that I can swatch all of them at once for you. This is why you have a rare occasion of seeing used make-up on he cover photo down there. This can only mean love though, I tell you. I ended up with the shades #100 Gold Copper, #106 Pink Heather, #102 Mink and #110 Damson and here are my thoughts about these.

Skincolor de La Mer Illuminating Powder, Swatch & Review

The holidays started for me, yay! I hope yours is around the corner too. Today we are going to drive to another town to visit family and spend Christmas there. Right before I get a few days off the blog, I thought I will show you something super pretty.

La Mer is known for their skin care (my favorite must be the Illuminating Eye Gel, reviewed here) but have a small range of cosmetics which also delivers. I have tried The Radiant Concealer (reviewed here) and Reparative Skintint (reviewed here) and was pleased by both. Last year during Holidays I caught a glimpse of their out-of-this-world beautiful Illuminating Powder at the counter and wanted to try it out since than. It was limited edition and was sold out at the time I was in for it. This year when I found out that it is released again, I laid my hands on it. Here are my thoughts on Skincolor de La Mer Illuminating Powder...

International Giveaway: Jo Malone London Christmas Cracker

I hope you have a great start in the week. I would like to go on with the giveaways to raise everyone's mood right before the holidays. Today I have 1 x Jo Malone London Christmas Cracker for you. I love the idea of cracker packed minis which seems to be common in UK. In Germany we are living through Jo Malone London's crackers each year. Last year I have tested one and loved the fact that you can try different bath&body products at once and also layer them in Jo Malone way. The products in the cracker are selected so that they layer well.

This year's cracker come with the following products:

Blackberry & Bay Cologne (9ml): This is one of my favorite Jo Malone Colognes for a fresh carefree day. I especially like it in Summer but reached for it often to layer with white florals in winter as well. Reviewed here.

Lime Basil & Mandarin Body & Hand Wash (15ml): This lifts your mood instantly when used in the morning. I have been reaching for it often to wash my hands too right before I go to bed to make sure I am having sweet dreams *winks*. Reviewed here.

Peony & Blush Suede Body Cream (15ml): After going fresh with your body wash, add some lovely floral scents on top. I am totally eyeing this one for my next Jo Malone purchase.

Please refer below for entering your details for the giveaway. Good luck *holiday smooch*.

Tom Ford Lips & Boys Reloaded, #58 Malik, #60 Drake, #67 Roman, #68 Egon, #74 Theo, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I wish you all a wonderful Sunday. Today I started the day by sleeping long since yesterday was a long and tiring shopping day. On a bright note, we are proud to buy all the gifts on one day including the gifts for each other. I would rather plan and enjoy selecting and buying the gifts but this year I have been super busy because of work. You know the story, men are usually not the best gift planners so they need some ideas & support not to buy the most expensive and useless gift possible LOL.

It is that time of the year again when Tom Ford sends out the best of his boys to conquer out hearts. Last year hubby assisted me with the swatches and I thought this year it would be fun to do it again. So here is me sharing my thoughts on and lip swatches on hubby of five of the shades I have been enjoying, #58 Malik, #60 Drake, #67 Roman, #68 Egon, #74 Theo.

Giorgio Armani Luxe is More Palette for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Are you having a nice weekend? As I already predicted at yesterday's post, it was all day shopping for us but great news, we are almost done! It certainly helped to have the shops open until midnight in Stuttgart City. Me and hubby even managed to get presents for each other. I might or might not have gotten a wine/plum Burberry Medium Clifton (such as the one here). I was planning to write the post already a few hours ago but because of the first date with my new purse, it got a bit delayed *wink wink*.

This post is anyway about me being a very bad girl lately after the corrections with my salary went through. I was surfing Sephora France's website, trying to find Nars Dead of Summer Palette which was sold out at Nars EU. I had to have Nars Stud but was not sure about the palette. Then I got distracted and somehow clicked to new arrivals. There it was, Giorgio Armani Luxe is More Palette which I managed to stay away since it was released a month ago in Germany. The reason why I skipped it was because I didn't see myself using the second tier, which is too deep for my skin tone and the first tier was rather shimmery light neutrals which would probably appear similar on my eye lids. But then again it was sold for 130€ here and on Sephora France the price was only 80€. Together with 25% reduction they were offering on one of the items, I tied the knot for 60€.

For this incredible deal for below half the price, I was sure that it would be worth it. After using it for a week straight, I am not all that sure about it anymore though. Here are my thoughts...

Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme Eau de Parfum, Review & Photos

Fri-yay everyone! This is the first weekend before X-mas so basically we have to work full day (and night) to get the missing presents. This year, it is somehow worse than last years, we haven't even started. Now when I think about the stress ahead, I am not too excited about weekend anymore. *chuckles*

I have been wearing the newest addition to Tom Ford signature perfume line, Noir Femme Eau de Parfum for months now but I held on to the review thinking this is one of the most perfect perfumes you can get for the time of the year. The moment the drops leave the spray it fills the air with a seductive christmas cookie. How can I resist *om nom nom*. Here are my thoughts...

Guerlain Météorites Flocons Enchantés & Voyage Enchanté for Holiday 2015, Review & Swatches

I hope your week started good. I can't believe that next week is already Christmas. I still have so much holiday make-up to show you but I hope that these are good until New Year's Eve since there is so much glow which comes with them.

Guerlain nailed it with their packaging this year. Seriously this must have been one of the prettiest holiday collections of all times with stars, snow flakes and golden details. As soon as the collection went live, most of the products were sold out, starting with the lipstick and Météorites Flocons Enchantés. I literally had to hunt to get my ballz *cough cough*. Although the balls are mostly sold out, compact powder Meteorites Voyage Enchanté is still available in some shops. This is one of Guerlain collectable compact powders with luxuriously heavy metal packaging and it is refillable. That is if you ever dare to spoil its lovely lace surface. I did that for the name of science and here are my thoughts on both of these stunning powders...

Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Colors #5 Pale Mauve, #18 Hibiscus, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Sunday! It is almost holidays, I hope I can show you all the pretties I have for holidays on time. I am glad to see that I can find some time in the morning to do my make-up although I am pretty busy getting used to the new job. That said the light situation in the morning started to be an issue. I want to photograph the looks I am wearing everyday to show you an FOTD of the corresponding products. I might get a ring light and see how that works for me. I like photographing FOTDs with the day light because the lights wash out the make-up so one has to really apply everything heavily. You know the Instagram/Youtube kind of make-up, very glam but not wearable unless you are working as a street artist with a doll or 17th century costume.

Last week I managed to capture two FOTDs which I would like to share with you today. I have been following how Bobbi Brown gets more attractive for me with each of their releases. I loved how illuminating but not frosty their Brightening Bricks are (reviewed here). Their new Intensive Skin Serum Foundation (reviewed here) is one of my go-to foundation at the moment. I am also testing their new corrector and concealers (review coming up soon). As for Holidays, Sterling Nights Palette  (reviewed here) stole my heart. I recently got to try out two of the newly released Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Colors, #18 Hibiscus which is marked as limited edition and #5 Pale Mauve which joins the permanent line. My thoughts are right after the jump.

International Giveaway: Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau de Parfum 50 ml

I hope you are having a fantastic weekend. Mine started great yesterday and going forward in a fantastic way, this is why I haven't blogged much in the last three days. So you know if you don't hear from me, it is rather good news, haha!

Always love Christmas time. Christmas markets are bustling,  everyone is happy and smiling, oh and hot wine smells so good. It is one of the loveliest time of the year and right in the middle of it, thanks to Flaconi (not affiliated), I would like to share one of the most beautiful Flacons ever created with one of my readers. Doesn't Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau de Parfum screams Christmas? In case you missed here is my review. Enter below to win one, good luck and lots of Xmassy hugs!

Burberry First Kisses #03 Rose Blush, #05 Sweet Plum, Lip Velvet #425 Damson & Lip Definer #07 Bright Plum, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Since I have changed jobs, the weeks are starting and ending so fast for me. Once it is the weekend and with the blink of an eye I find myself in the middle of the week. That is good news though since one more blink and it will be weekend again *winks*. The Christmas markets are so lovely at the moment. Last week we were in Esslingen. They have a special theme Christmas market where everything is decorated as in middle ages and people are dressed that way too. There are some games like Archery or one you throw a big stone to meet an egg. So much fun! If you are around or visiting, be sure to check it out.

I know we moved on to holiday season but my heart is still in Fall. I love everything about Fall, the falling leaves, the (plummy) shades of nature, even the mood which comes with it. I can easily wear shades of Fall all year around. Today it is about a few "berry chic" products from Burberry I am adoring at the moment. Burberry recently released First Kisses glosses which are glossy lip balms with a hint of color, in line with the last trends. I also laid my hands on two plum gorgeousness, Lip Velvet in #425 Damson and Lip Definer in #07 Bright Plum. My thoughts and swatches are right after the jump.

Wayne Goss Holiday 2015 Brush, Review & Photos

Wish you all a beautiful Sunday. We have a springy weather here, not very warm but very sunny. Loving it, we got to go out before the sun sets as it started going down as early as 4pm. I don't particularly hate winter but that aspect with shorter days is certainly not my favorite. Not so many days left until Christmas and we are behind our shopping schedule. I am behind my give-away schedule as well because had no time to set up in Rafflecopter. I hope I can get a few done soon.

I have previously reviewed the first Wayne Goss Brush Set (Part I & Part II) as well as the first Holiday Brush (review) two years ago. Last year Wayne released a white version of the holiday brush which I also ordered. I love the domed shape of these which is great for application and blending at the same time once you get used to work with the right pressure. These were limited edition back then but I see that recently Beautylish brought them back. You can check out my favorite, the white one here (not affiliated).

This year Wayne comes up with a new limited edition Holiday Brush. It is very different than the ones which were released during the last two years. It is the largest blue squirrel brush Wayne has ever released. It is silky soft and has an interesting shape. It will soon be available for purchase. I don't have pricing information as of today but you can sign up to newsletter for more information and watch his video here. It will exclusively be available via Beautylish. My thoughts and some comparison photos are right after the jump.

Laura Mercier Glam To Go Cheek, Eye & Lip Travel Case, Little Indulgence Hand & Body Cream Set, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy weekend to everyone! I was fighting some cold and trying to hang in there with the lectures but I am glad that I feel much better. This weekend we have visitors at some so I will try my best to sneak in a few posts because I got such pretty things to show you. I can't wait.

Laura Mercier released a color and a body & bath collection for holidays as usual. I fell in love with the very wearable shade selection in Glam To Go Eye & Lip Travel Case which comes in a super practical and chic packaging. It is really the definition of grab & go. The first product I have tried from Laura Mercier years ago was their hand cream with Crème de Pistache scent. It is what opened the doors to this brand for me. I still always have a full size of this one in my office and at home as a mood lifter which provides great hand care. This year there are four mini-sized hand & body creams in Little Indulgence Hand Cream Set. My thoughts about both of the sets are right after the jump.

Clinique Smart Night Custom Repair Moisturizer, Treatment Oil & Custom Repair Eye Treatment, Review & Photos

I hope your week started great. I officially don't work on Mondays so mine starts a little later. That said I have to prepare all the time for the rest of the days so this is just a theoretical definition. Today I found out that my salary was messed up for a few months now is still not properly compensated as promised. Instead of getting angry, I chose to shop a few Boys from Tom Ford, hah, what a nice thing to do especially if you don't have money!

I have been testing Clinique's brand new Smart Series for over a month now for every day so I thought I will share my thoughts with you today on these. Clinique Germany was also very generous to offer a give-away for my readers which I will set as a separate post during this week. Separate give-away posts are great to hide after the offer is over. I have a bunch of give-aways in December, hoping that you will like them.

Caught In Action: Tom Ford Fall 2015 Mood Light, So Vain & Plum Ombre, Swatch, Review & FOTD

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I was silent because I got some sore throat this week on Wednesday and hardly made it through the week. Eventually my throat got better but my nose is killing me. As you can imagine around my nose is red, my eyes are half swollen and yesterday night we were at the ball. The one for which I purchased the nice dress last weekend. Agh, right on time! Do you have any tips for "makeup during common cold"? I applied lots of concealer around the nose and took it with me. The ball was really nice, I took some pills to get me going all night, now I am really so tired. All I want is zZzzZZZz.

Too bad that I am not so presentable for an FOTD right now, because I have many more Christmas products I can't wait to share with you. Until I can show you some of my new face shots, I am taking now a break for a day or two until my nose heals. Here is what I didn't have time to talk about before but I figured out it might be interesting since two of the products are permanent and one is still not sold out. Tom Ford's Fall Collection might be far away from receiving the love it always does but there are still a few gems in there. Here are my thoughts on Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo #01 in Moodlight, Lip Color #50 So Vain and Eye & Cheek Shadow #04 Plum Ombre.

Marc Jacobs Decadence Eau de Parfum, Review & Photos

This week started with the bad news that one of the packages which was on its way to me for a holiday give-away is blocked by Royal Mail and sent back. I am finding UK regulations of dangerous goods very amusing as one can send nail polish in the country but not out of. Also I don't think they are checking everyone's luggages for nail polish as the passengers are getting on board with their suitcases in the same airplane. Oh no, did I say too much? Maybe tomorrow they pass a new regulation to scan that one too? I was thinking why don't they offer ground/sea shipping if there are products which are not supposed to fly? *sigh*

Enough rant, off to the review. Today I have the ultimate Xmas Perfume for you. Just check out the flacon and you will know what I mean. The stunning combination of green glass, black phython pattern and gold chain, with a black tassel on its end, it is designed after a cult handbag of the designer, who is in? Here are my thoughts on a very unusual perfume at Marc Jacobs line, Decadence...

Smashbox BB Water, Art.Love.Color Brush Set & Bestsellers Kit, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Yesterday I went on a mission to purchase a dress for the ball we are attending next weekend. It was mission impossible considering how much weight I gained in the last two years. I have to start exercising as soon as possible but having a new job doesn't help. I try to remind myself to go one step at a time, like clear the job front, sign up for gym. I usually have the tendency to cop up with things all at once, I like "all or none" but I came to a point it might not work as expected. Long story short, I managed to get a dress, yay!

This week is going to be super busy so I thought I'd share my thoughts about a few Smashbox products I have been testing recently sooner than later. Smashbox is a brand I was not very familiar to prior to blogging but recently some of their products truly won my heart, such as Bronze Lights and Fusion Soft Lights (reviewed here) and their Contour Kit (reviewed here). I am eyeing Full Exposure Palette too which is a great combination of matte and shimmer. From the products I have tried so far, I am more than impressed how easy to work the textures are and how flattering they look especially on FOTDs since they are designed to picture well. Today I am excited to share my thoughts about Smashbox BB Water SPF 30 Foundation which they is recently released. From their super fun holiday collection Art.Love.Color, I have the Brush Set and Bestseller Kit to show you as well. Right after the jump...

Chanel Vamp Attitude Collection for Holiday 2015, My Picks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I never thought I would, but I miss blogging and chatting with you. This week has been crazy. There was nothing unusual going on but I was getting obsessed about planning of one of my lectures so I was focusing a little too much (read: day and night) on this issue and ended up not thinking about make-up very much. That said I have worn make-up almost every day and tried out some of the pieces I picked up from Chanel Vamp Attitude Collection last week. This just arrived to our shores recently so although it might be old news for some of you, I would still like to share my thoughts about the pieces I have picked up.

I was originally planning an epic haul of this collection. Rouge Noir is one of the shades which calls my name. I love the shade of the Rouge Allure Lipstick and the cult nail polish bearing this name so a collection around the theme was almost a dream come true. That said when I arrived the counter, I was less than impressed with some of the pieces. On the other hand some were even better than I thought they would be. All in all this collection was a mixed bag for me. I ended up with Illusion d'Ombre #857 Rouge Noir, Le Crayon Khol in Rouge Noir, Le Volume #27 Rouge Noir,  (do you see a trend here?) to combine with the lipstick and nail polish of Rouge Noir which I already had. I was head over heels about Le Vernis #757 Rose Fusion so I decided backing it up. I also picked up the glitter Le Top Coat Lamé Rouge Noir although I am not so much into Glitter Top Coats but I collection Chanel Le Vernis. The last item I picked was the palette, Chanel Signe Particular, for which I had high hopes but ended up not loving. Here is more about it...

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful week. The fear which terror feeds goes on in Europe. Today a football game was evacuated in Germany. I am sincerely hoping that the fear doesn't get the best of us. It would be such a pity to see Christmas Markets empty *frowns*.

Talking about Christmas, I am on the mission to review each and every pretty Christmas Palette out there for you. Today I have Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Eye Palette, the star of Sterling Nights Holiday Collection. Hard to believe but this is the first time I am reviewing a Bobbi Brown Palette for you. I was lusting over a few in the last months, including Greige so today I am excited to share my thoughts on this one.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette, Review, Swatch & FOTD

The weekend started with terrible news from Paris. I am hoping that it will get better. My condolences to the innocent people who lost their lives and their families and friends. I wished that terror wouldn't be one of the topics of 21st century but unfortunately we seem to be far away from getting rid of it. I wished there would be a formula to eliminate it from our equations forever.

On another note I have been to the hair dresser today. I am going to write about it at another post but I was so disappointed with how it was. The service I received was terrible and at the cashier they tried to get more money as it was written on their price list. I have no words for one of the shopping molls in Stuttgart who are known for their service and customer orientation (Breuninger Stuttgart) to host such a hairdresser i house. I am definitely going to complain about this to the customer service. Oh and my hair didn't turn out to be what I imagined it would be but I can live with that. The FOTDs in this post are all taken prior to the cut so I will show it to you later.

I am very excited for today's post. Because I am a 90s kid and I was grown up listening to "Don't Speak", "Hella Good" and "Hey Baby". Although I was never into pop music all that much, there was something alternative in No Doubt to speak to a larger audience. Gwen Stefani has always been one of stage personalities I loved watching, her unique style, her taste in make-up has been of great interest to me. When I have heard that Urban Decay was collaborating with her for a Eyeshadow Palette, I was very intrigued. I am glad to share my thoughts about the early sample I received. Here is a picture heavy post with some of the looks I came up with after wearing it one week straight.

Guerlain Palette Ors Et Merveilles for Holiday 2015, Swatch, Review, Comparison & FOTD

I hope your week started well. Mine is a little cra(m)ppy but doing fine until now. Tomorrow I will be doing home office which is great for these type of situations. I will also try to go and pick up the pieces I reserved from Chanel Holiday. I can't wait. During the next days I will be showing lots of wonderful palettes and some more Holiday Make-up. I have a bunch of give-aways coming up soon too so stay tuned for those.

It took me longer than expected to write about Guerlain Holiday although the products were released at some online stores as early as 3 weeks ago. I kept waiting for the information from Guerlain Germany  which I didn't receive until many of the pieces were sold out online and in stores. I am hoping the reviews are still helpful though for some who can still find these. I believe some international online stores still have these in stock. I would like to start with the palette I picked up, Guerlain Palette Ors Et Merveilles. This is not the most popular piece of the collection and doesn't have the snow design anywhere in the package but after being very much impressed with last year's Petrouchka Palette (reviewed here) I thought I give it a try. Was it like I hoped it would be? Here are my thoughts about it...

Clarins The Essentials Eye Make-Up Palette for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It is that time of the month again when I start dropping things. You know what I mean? I dropped down a few eye make-up and managed to break them. I cant wait until this is over. All I am doing is now getting miserable and curling on the sofa. Today we attended a brunch party of a good old friend, which was fun! Oh and I ate too much. Give me sweets and leave me alone.

Gorgeous X-mas palettes are all over now. I have a few(!) to show you in the upcoming weeks. I would like to start by Clarins' Holiday Collection The Essentials Eye Make-Up Palette. Ten-pan palettes of Clarins' have almost been a tradition now. I fell in love with the one from 2013 but didn't pick it up last year since I thought they were similar. This year's is more smoky with a good balance of matte and shimmery shades.  Also this year Clarins came up with a wonderful idea of planting a tree in Brazil for each Palette. I am loving this idea. I wore the palette a couple of times during the last week. My thoughts about it is after the jump.

Alaïa Paris Extrait de Parfum Review, Olfactory Painting of Perfume Mastery, Now Available in High Resolution

It is almost weekend! Although I still need to get ready for tomorrow's lecture I am seeing the Friday evening approaching to me with open arms, can't wait. Is anyone planning to go to see a movie? I might check out James Bond. Or maybe another one on the couch depending on my mood. Alternatively we might go for a cocktail or two so that I can write another funny post.

Today I have one of the most luxurious treats you can think of for your holiday wish list. I have been literally obsessing over Alaïa Paris Eau de Parfum (reviewed here) during the last two months. I almost reached for no other fragrance but Alaïa everyday since weeks. I emptied around one third of my 100 ml flacon, which is almost unheard of considering the size of my perfume stash.

The complexity of Alaïa's fragrance makes it a hard-to-find-gem among the designer perfumes, especially once it is combined with its office-friendly sillage and great longevity. And if you already loved the olfactory painting it offers, it is available in higher resolution version for Holiday season. It now comes in a luxurious 20 ml Extrait de Parfum flacon! *happy sigh*.

Suqqu Kimono Duo for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a great start in the week. I don't work on mondays so mine is always starting great. Today I went to the city to pick up some pieces of MAC Magic Of The Night Collection which I missed during the online launch. I will post about these later on. In the evening I ended up having some hiccups due to terrible sample distribution from one of the brands. That on top of getting ready for tomorrow's lecture. I am ready for the weekend! LOL.

Today I have a real collector's item to show you. Suqqu is going to release Kimono Duo, a set consisting of Glow Nuance Face Color Ex-02 in lovely golden hues and Creamy Glow Lipstick Moist Ex-19 in Crimson Red. The inspiration behind the set is traditional Japanese craft techniques Kindami (金彩, gold leaf painting) and Benisome (紅染, dyeing with a special flower). I decided to put my red Kimono which I picked during one of my visits to Japan in good use and posed with it for this FOTD, intrigued?

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint #18 Silver Mirage for Holiday 2015, Swatch, Review & FOTD

Another weekend flew away. Hope yours was more productive. Today I was watching outside, and suddenly it got dark around 16:00, partly because of the days getting shorter but partly because it was so foggy. I am all ready for Spring haha!

Today I have one of the three Eye Tints from Giorgio Armani's Holiday Collection Luxe is More, #18 Silver Mirage. I checked the collection in person but they didn't have the eye tints so I had to order one sight unseen. I was thinking to pick up the palette but ended up skipping it due to the fact that it reminded me of Duty Free Palettes which look like they can do everything but end up doing nothing right. Luxe is More Collection is inspired by Hollywood make-up with light shimmery eye lids and red lips. There are a few very gorgeous lipsticks in the collection. If I can manage to give Silver Mirage back tomorrow, I will pick one of them. Yes you have heard right, I am not very happy with it, so here is why...

MAC Ascent of Glamour Colourdrenched Pigment & Dark Side Lipstick from Magic Of The Night for Holiday 2015, Review Swatch & FOTD

We have such a beautiful Fall weather here, sunny and mild, the trees are so beautiful. I love Fall when it is like this. Today's haul included new glasses, yay! I tried all the designer corner with no success and ended up getting a titanium one from Silhouette with no frame. I thought I need something which doesn't compete with my eye make-up. I also picked up one more matte Diorific Lipstick from the holiday collection since I ended up loving the ones I have. If I can come to that, I will post a few more FOTDs.

Last week MAC Holiday Collection Magic Of The Night launched online in Germany but of course I was constantly too late for all the launches so I missed Oh Darling and Evening Rendezvous. I am also eyeing Tonight is the Night and Please Me. I really don't have time to stalk a webpage at the moment so I will try to catch those online on Monday. For the time being I have two pieces to show you, MAC Ascent of Glamour Colourdrenched Pigment and Dark Side (Amplified) Lipstick

Guerlain Parure Gold Gold Radiance Powder Foundation Rejuvenating Effect SPF 15 PA++, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Hiya everyone. I hope you had a great week, mine started great, I got the clearance like I mentioned on Tuesday. Then it started getting really very tiring since there were many meetings to attend on top of my teaching schedule. I am really excited about the weekend. Oh and I just watched Paper Towns after finding out that Cara Delevingne is not that present after all. I might be the only one but I am not huge fan of hers. Anyway, I think the movie was entertaining but somehow in the end we asked to ourself, so, what was the ending about after all? It was getting really good in the last 40 min and last 10 min was like boo. That aside, I love watching movies to start the weekend. It is one of my favorite activities, ehm, right there with writing a post *wink wink*

I have been very excited about the recent revamped formulation of Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation which I have reviewed here. I am head over heels about that foundation and using it everyday. #02 started to get a little deeper after my holiday tan left me *sniff sniff* but thanks to Melanie from mel-et-fel now I have the matching shade, 11! She was insisting that I should try that shade (and gave me hers) because it is a possible good match for my skin, she was so right. All of you out there who is slightly lighter than me, you should go for shade 00.

I have also been testing the new Guerlain Parure Gold Gold Radiance Powder Foundation so I figured out maybe you are interested in my thoughts? Right after the jump.

Cosmed.Me Hyaluron Serum boosted by LTS, Review & Photos

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Mine started very well on Monday and I could clear most of the uncertainties which have to do with the current job. I got the certificate from the examination, which was partly due to luck I believe but what isn't in life right? So yay for a great start, thanks to everyone who sent me positive energy and lovely wishes.

Today I would like to share my thoughts about a new skin care brand, Cosmed.Me which is Europe based and can be ordered from most of the countries in Europe via brand's website. The brand focuses on one product at the moment, Hyaluron Serum. They have a patented technology to make hyaluron reach deeper skin levels to achieve a similar result to injections. Here are my thoughts about  Cosmed.Me Hyaluron Serum.

Estée Lauder New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum, Shape + Sculpt Face & Eye Kits, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a great weekend. I always have the feeling that it is way too short although this time it was one hour more than usual thanks to the switch to the winter time. Today was the big long cleaning day. Now that everything looks polished, it is time to go to work again boo. Tomorrow I am hoping to get an answer regarding the very odd examination I had last week. I hope things don't get even more complex than they are at the moment. I really have no energy to write complaint letters and sue if necessary. I would like to concentrate on my new task and deliver the best there instead of putting my energy in those things. Fingers (and toes) crossed it turns out to be good tomorrow.

A new fresh wind is blowing from Estée Lauder in case you haven't noticed. They keep coming up with innovating new products. This year has certainly been a great year for the brand who renewed the eye shadow formulas, lipsticks, launched new formulas and textures for those as well as new base products. The recent base perfecting line, New Dimension aims at sculpting and shaping the face. The intention is to look perfect at each angle. Today I would like to share my thoughts about Estée Lauder New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum as well as Shape + Sculpt Face & Eye Kits. And as for the surprise, at the end of this post you will find a face shot of me from the reverse side which I never revealed before! Right after the jump...

Sisley Phyto-Poudre Libre Loose Powder, Eye Twist 04 Steel, 05 Lagoon, So Intense Eyeliner, Phyto-Lip Twist 07 Coral and Phyto-Lèvres Lipliner 08 Coral, Review, Swatch & FOTD

What a week it was, and the stress is not over yet. I spared all good luck wishes for the upcoming Monday and then hopefully my problems are over for good. I hope your week was better than mine. In any case, it is now weekend and best thing about it, it has just started! Plans for today are to solve the package/delivery issues I am having with H&M. I haven't purchased anything from them for ages and now I remember why. I order on receipt and they send the package and ask me to pay at the door. And... they don't accept card? What the rabbit! Anyhow, never again. Today I have to run a few more errands but I am definitely in to enjoy the beautiful weather. The weekend ahead will be amazing, it is expected to be sunny & warm, yay for that!

I started reviewing Holiday Collections a few weeks ago but there are a few more gems I would like to share from the latest looks for the season. Sisley's Fall Collection Night & Day Glam brings their recently released products combined in a very unusual way. You would think that orange lips are for summer? For Sisley Fall, lips are dressed  in colors of the falling leaves while eyes are kept sultry in navy & gunmetal. Interesting? Let's check out...

Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-04 Shisouori & Christmas 2015 Makeup Kit B, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope everyone is having a great week. Mine is sort of stressful due to a stupid doctor examination I have to pass to get my civil servant rights. Since I had a health issue four years ago and the state only cares about statistics but not "people" now I am quite worried about it. I am loving my current job but just because of that I might have to search for a new one and go back to industry. I really hope this doesn't happen (wish me luck tomorrow). This is why sorry if I don't sound very cheerful today.

I would like to show you another pretty holiday set from Suqqu, Christmas Makeup Kit B which is the cooler option from the two. You can see my review of Kit A here. Kit B comes with the same deep blue Gel Eyeliner (Ex-02) and a makeup remover. The eye trio in this set is a combination of pinks and purples, yes, my type of shades, yay! Let me share my thoughts about Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-04 Shisouori.

Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-03 Aosaori & Christmas 2015 Makeup Kit A, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It is not over yet, enjoy! I was planning to blog yesterday night but right after having dinner, I came up with the idea of visiting our favorite cocktail place to have a drink or two. There is a great jazz lounge with live music and cocktails are so yummy. I started with my favorite, Mojito and moved on to Mai Tai which I also like. But then there were   Japanese crab crackers which came with the cocktails, don't ask me how these combine but I am known to go overboard with everything which is coming from Japan so the salt in there made me drink the Mojito in a record speed. Rest is history... I must have slept before midnight lol.

On the 1st of November the first holiday collection of Suqqu will be released. Suqqu is planning more releases this season, there are store exclusives and some good value kits but the wide spread Holiday release of this year consists of two kits. Each kit has a pouch, a limited Eye Color Palette (trios) and a limited Gel Eyeliner Pencil as well as a two phase Eye Makeup Remover. Due to shipping restrictions I won't be able to show you the make-up remover but I am excited to share my thoughts on Makeup Kit A today featuring Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-03 Aosaori and Gel Eyeliner Pencil Ex-02. I will also review Makeup Kit B soon.

Jo Malone London Dark Amber & Ginger Lily Cologne Intense Review

Eventually the weather turned to be really chilly here. In the mornings it is almost below 10 degrees Celsius. I have even heard that it had snowed on high lands. Considering that it didn't snow for almost two years straight, it has rather been a shock to see something white falling from the skies. Although some people like and miss snow, I am perfectly happy to live somewhere where it is not that cold all year around.

As the weather changes, I started to go for warmer scents with spices and occasionally a touch of incense. This season I have been loving Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom (reviewed here) for its inviting spicy opening and floral heart with an unusual touch of Mimosa. As it gets colder, I wanted to enrich the beautiful composition of Mimosa & Cardamom by emphasizing the spiciness, adding more sensual florals and neutralizing the sweetness of the Tonka Bean with something deeper, stronger and a little darker. This is when I layered it to perfection with Jo Malone London Dark Amber & Ginger Lily Cologne Intense for my signature scent of this season. Here are my thoughts about Dark Amber & Ginger Lily Cologne Intense.

Tom Ford Cream and Powder Duo Night Sky from Noir Collection for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch, FOTD & Comparison

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Today (starting from tonight) was that time of the month for me again. Sorry for too much information but hey, do you have the same problem? I get so clumsy, like literally drop everything I have in my hand on the ground. Today I was preparing a Sisley blog post and the eye crayon dropped all the way to the ground. Needless to say it was a big mess. And for this blog post when I opened the package I was super happy to get the Cream & Powder Duo in perfect shape, not touching the cap, perfectly aligned. That was until I dropped it today haha! Anyway if that happens to you, just tap it on the table a few times and it realigns.

I am super excited to share the rest of the Tom Ford Holiday Collection Items with you today. You can see my swatches and comparison of Black Out Nail Lacquer here. I have previously reviewed First Time Lipstick, which comes in a special lined case for this collection here. This is why today I would like to concentrate on Cream & Powder Eye Shadow Duo in Night Sky. A spoiler, it is as smoky as it gets. Ready? *jumps*

Tom Ford Nail Lacquer Black Out for Holiday 2015 Noir Collection, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you had a great start in the week. I was at home today but had to run around after some paper work and ended up exhausted on the couch, playing with shimmery black nail polishes (as shared on Instagram here) and yawning as I woke up a little earlier than usual.

Shimmery black nail polishes are one of my weaknesses, love them as long as there is no chunky glitter involved. I love the glittery ones too but they are a little of a mess to remove. Yes, even with aluminum foil technique but this is a topic for another blog post. Let's look at this stunning black with subtle but visible shimmer, flashing in all possible colors. I am talking about Tom Ford Nail Lacquer Black Out.

MAC MACnificient Me Collection, My Picks and lots of Swatches & FOTDs

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was really relaxing. Yesterday night we had a great dinner at our favorite restaurant (Japanese Cuisine) and made use of some "beauty event" discounts to get some of the essentials, such as the natural lip liner from Chanel and some more fun make-up from MAC. I ended up with nine pieces from MAC MACneficient Collection. I was trying to resist but it didn't work. Worst of all I am eyeing a few items from there holiday collection as well.

Here is a photo of the items I picked before yesterday so a few here are missing. My picks in the end turned out to be: Sculpt & Shape Powder Accentuate & Sculpt, Eye Shadow x9 MACnificient Me, Eye Shadows Cheer Me On and Everyone's Darling, Pro Longer Paint Pot Frozen Violet, Powder Blushes A Little Lusty and Burned Pepper, Amplified Creme Lipstick in My Inner Femme and Mattene Semi-Matte Lipstick in Strutting Fabulous. It is a long list and not every one of them turned out to be excellent but I had so much fun with the pieces so I would like to share three FOTDs with you as well, including an orange red one, right after the jump...

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge EdP & Pure Color Envy Sculpting Eye Shadow Palette in Pink Mink, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Another week ended *pats herself on the shoulder, opens a champagne and relaxes*

Gosh, you know what happened today? Actually I was wearing the eye shadow palette I will show you today, nude makeup mostly because my lipstick was not reapplied and I was kind of casual chic for work, you know shirt trousers, blouse etc. After work, I went to the shopping center but although I tried really hard, I couldn't buy anything, nothing seemed to work so I decided to buy some nice roses for home and head back home. At the parking lot I just put the roses in the trunk and a guy approached me and asked me if he could invite me for a Prosecco. I was like ?!?! for a moment then I told him I was married *cough cough* and he said thank you and kindly went away. I am wondering if that had to do with me buying roses for myself, he thought I was alone haha.  Anyway I felt like a teen girl again lol. It was definitely a confidence booster ;-)

When I first see the Le Rouge Collection of Esteé Lauder all I wanted to do was to sing ♫"Roxane... You don't have to put on the red lights!".♫... *hums a tune* ♫ Put on the red lights! Put on the red lights! I hate 80s but love love this song! (just checked because it is not 80s but 78 hah!)

Together with the third version of Modern Muse, Le Rouge Eau de Parfum, there are also limited edition make-up products in the collection. Those come in chic red packaging, which is so appropriate for the season. Today I would like to share my thoughts on Pure Color Envy Sculpting Eye Shadow Palette in Pink Mink and Modern Muse Le Rouge EdP.

La Mer Renewal Oil Review

I hope you are all having a wonderful week. It is hump day but since two third of my teaching load is on the last two days of the week, poor me, I have to go on humping as rest of you start getting ready for the weekend. Today it is very rainy and no sight of sun here although the temperatures are still kind of friendly. At such a miserable day, I thought I share some shots I took on a sunny day with flowers at the park.

Today it is about a new addition to La Mer line, Renewal Oil. After all I am so head over heels with La Mer Illuminating Eye Gel (reviewed here), I could hardly wait for the release of their facial oil, another category of skin care I love. I have been testing the deluxe lab sample which was provided to me for over a month and I would like to share my thoughts about it.

Suqqu Face Designer Concealer Palette and Color Foundation 02 & 03 Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. I am regretting a bit that I took the wonderful weather yesterday for granted and didn't really enjoy it as I should. Today it is so rainy and dark, boo! The weather was going so good, I thought it would go on like that forever, too optimistic huh? Anyway the mood somehow fits to what I have to do, prepare lectures! I will start with that right after enjoying some good japanese food we are about to order. I can't wait. Matching to the yummy Nigiri menu, I have the finest cosmetics from Japan for you today.

Suqqu recently extended their complexion line and added a concealer/highlighter palette called Face Designer Concealer which can be customized to match the different complexion and needs. There are also three Color Foundations, which are blush/contour sticks with Suqqu's foundation formula. I was very curious to find out about the interpretation of flawless complexion by one of my favorite brands. After using these over three weeks now, here are my thoughts about the products.

Givenchy Teint Couture #4, Le Rouge #203 Rose Dentelle and Noir Couture Volume #1, Review, Swatches & FOTD

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. In Germany today was the Reunification Day so it was a bank holiday. Sounds great right? Not all that much for me because all the stores are closed. I wanted to treat myself for being able to survive the first week but no chance on that. This weekend we have two Sundays like a person having two left hands! I am hoping to work tomorrow a little and turn my lecture free Monday into a shopping spree kind of day. Wish for the best. I am looking for some comfortable but chic shoes under dress pants. It is always a challenge to get something functional which looks good.

Today I have three products from Givenchy, a brand you don't see much in this blog. A reason for that is that because in Stuttgart we are lacking a Givenchy counter although they are really no exceptions in Germany in general. Since I can't swatch the products it is hard for me to decide so when I was given the chance to try Givenchy Teint Couture FoundationLe Rouge #203 Rose Dentelle lipstick and Noir Couture Volume #1 Mascara by the lovely Flaconi team, I was glad to do that. Here are my thoughts on these items.

Guerlain Orchidée Impériale The Night Detoxifying Essence Review

I wish you a wonderful start in the weekend. I thought I drop by (my own blog!) and say hi *waves*. I was not around for two days. That was because I have 6 hours of teaching on Thursday and Friday and on Wednesday I don't teach but I have to prepare. Since this is my first year everything is more hectic and busy than it usually will be. I am patting myself on the shoulder for the fact that I survived the first week! I will open a champagne and try to answer the comments later on tonight. By the way you might have noticed that I have written a post on Tuesday which starts like "I hope you are having a wonderful weekend". Gosh, what was I thinking?

Back to the subject of tonight, I thought I show you something extra luxurious and super pretty for the Friday night. I am impressed with almost everything I have tried from the exquisite line of Guerlain Orchiée Impériale. Recently a new product is added to the line, Guerlain Orchidée Impériale The Night Detoxifying Essence, an interesting addition to the night routine to help the skin regenerate faster and get rid of the toxicity of the day. I have been testing it around a month now, here are my thoughts...

Diorific Vernis #227 Gris-Or, #991 Mystere and #001 State of Gold for Holiday 2015, Review, Swatch & Comparison

I hope you are having a wonderful week! Mine started so fast that I am already all in for the weekend. From the job done point of view though I am only two third there. It is also wonderfully sunny here in Stuttgart, lovely weather, only if I didn't have to work that much...

I have laid my hands to some Dior Holiday 2015 items. I have posted some swatches and a first look here. Today I would like to show you the nail polishes of the collection. There are four nail polishes in limited edition Diorific packaging which I find to be very cute and festive. The first time Dior came up with this, I was all over it. The second year (reviewed here) I remember being excited too, there was especially a very nice color in that collection, called Minuit, I still love it to bits. Then the third year (reviewed here) it was started to get a bit boring because the packaging was the same, which was alright but the shades were almost the same as well. This year is the fourth year with the Diorific limited edition packaging. I am collecting them all because I love them so much. You can see a group photo here at Instagram. Today I would like to share my thoughts about three of the four colors, Diorific Vernis #227 Gris-Or, #991 Mystere and #001 State of Gold. The fourth shade is a red called #951 Passion which I am hoping to get after the collection launches here.

Dior State of Gold Holiday 2015 Review, Swatches & FOTD

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Mine was nice, I say was because now I have to start working on the lectures for next week. I noticed it can get really very busy next week so decided to get a few posts done and also show you the items I received recently from Dior Holiday 2015 State of Gold Collection.

Dior goes for the same ornamental holiday packaging for the fourth time this year. The first year it was a real deal, everyone was wowed. Last year it was getting a bit old but now it seems Dior sees this packaging something like "Christmas Dish which you are allowed to eat once a year, only on Christmas Eve". It looks like we will have many more years with the same packaging. The pieces I laid my hands on are Eyeshadow Palette 5 Couleurs State of Gold #576 Eternal Gold, Diorshow Fusion Mono #631 Blazing, Diorific Matte in #590 Troublante and #770 Fantastique as well as three of the Diorific nail polishes. I used them very briefly so don't take this post as a very detailed review. Here are my thoughts and first impressions.

Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 in #2 Sand, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I went for a shopping spree yesterday and today on my mission to get appropriate clothes for the new job. One would think that in the university everyone is rather casual but it turns out they like presenting their best selves to the students. It is time to get used to the idea that I can't use the half of the clothes in my closet because of the weight gain in the last 3 year. I have to shake these off eventually but for the time being I need to buy a few things. And I need shoes but it was so hard to get one because my size is is between two sizes so one size is too big and the other one is not so comfortable. Shoe hunt has to go on! Oh then I had to wait for hubby to pick me up from shopping and ended up drinking two Mojitos while waiting. I told them to go easy on ice but who would know they would fill it up with Rum instead! I am tipsy, so bear with me.

Bobbi Brown's new Serum Foundation shook the blogosphere a bit and made me super curious. Right on time when I was considering to order it from another country, they released it here. I have been using it for a few weeks now, on and off and here are my thoughts.

Giorgio Armani Runway Fall/Winter 2015 Eye Tint, Palette, Swatches, Review & FOTD

It is hard to believe that this week is almost over. I hope you had a great one. I am working around the clock to get my lectures ready so I am not in the place to be glad that weekend is almost there. It started getting very busy all week, including weekends. Today I attended a farewell party of the project I used to work for. It was being held in a super cool "artists accomodation", with very interesting art all around the place. Needless to say it was unexpected and I loved it.

Giorgio Armani recently released their Runway Fall/Winter 2015 Collection which are supposed to be the pieces they used for the make-up in their runway show. I have googled a few images and it looks the lipstick which comes with the collection was worn by the models as well as some very cool eye shadows, just like the ones in the palette but I cant see anything similar to this warm copper eye tint shade. Used in the show or not, it was too gorgeous to pass so I couldn't resist. Although it was insanely expensive compared to their regular Eye Tints. Was it worth it? After the jump...

Burberry My Burberry Eau de Toilette, Review

I hope you are all having a great week. I thought I give a sign that I am alive *waves*. This week is going so fast, I didn't notice that hump day was over already. I cheated though because I didn't work properly on Monday (other than in the train) and visited two lovely bloggers in Dusseldorf, Anonymiss and Mel-et-fel. We had a great day and they managed to keep my shopping urge at bay. I managed not to go bankrupt at Tom Ford Counter, yay! After I was back, I started to come up with some sore throat which I am trying to get rid of since two days while working hard to get ready for the lectures. It is not fun so far. I am hoping that it goes away before the lectures start next week.

Today I have a new version of one of my most used perfumes of last winter/spring. I have previously declared my love for Burberry My Burberry here and ended up using one third of my 100 ml bottle. I have tens of bottles lying around but I kept reaching for it. Once the weather started to get warm, I went on using it but at some point I had the feeling that it was a bit too dense. Right on time Burberry released a new version in Eau de Toilette concentration. Here are my thoughts about it...
