Clarins Aquatic Treasures Bronzer, Ombre Iridescente 02 Aquatic Green, 03 Aquatic Grey and Eclat Minute 01 Rose from Aquatic Treasures Collection for Summer 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a lovely Sunday. I am back from holiday so there are a few things I have to  sort out. I have to catch up with the blog. I am planning to answer the comments and check out some blog posts I missed during my absence later today. But first I would like to review the last Summer Collection I will be featuring before summer officially begins tomorrow.

Clarins' Aquatic Treasures Collection is released recently in Germany. I was waiting for it impatiently since each year they bring out an extra-large gorgeous bronzer (like in 2013, Splendors collection, reviewed here) which I can't resist. Not that I need another bronzer but Clarins' powder products are supreme and the design of the compact is so pretty. When I saw that there were also three new colors of their long lasting eye shadows, I was even more excited. I like the texture of their Ombre Mattes (reviewed here). The new eye shadows are supposed to have a similar texture but metallic/iridescent finish to them. They are called Ombre Iridescente. I tested the products last week, here are my thoughts to share with you...

Jo Malone London Sakura Cherry Blossom & Plum Blossom for Blue Skies & Blossom Collection, Review, Photos

Jo Malone London's Blue Skies & Blossom Collection fired its arrow straight into my heart right after my visit to Japan during this Spring. We were a week or two too late, thus we were trying to catch a view of the sakura high bloom by taking advantage of our Japan Rail Pass. During a sunny day in Kyoto, we visited Ninna-ji. This particular temple has a big garden of a different type of cherry trees which are known by their late blossoms. Only after I stepped into the garden, I could fully appreciate the unique experience it offers. Hundreds of meters long and wide, tightly planted cherry trees were in full blossom, meadow was covered in petals. No other colors to disturb the scene but white pink and green. If you raise your head, you could see the tower of an ancient temple raising over the cloud of sakura trees (I tried capture it in this photo). And the lingering aroma... I have never smelled anything like this before. So distinct, yet so pleasant and never overwhelming. Taking deep breaths, we walked in this surreal maze.

Later that month, I came across Jo Malone Blue Skies & Blossom Collection during my travel to the States. It is composed of three repromoted fragrances of the line, Sakura Blossom, Plum Blossom and Osmanthus Blossom. I have sampled all three and fell in love with Sakura and Plum Blossom as they put this unforgettable experience in a bottle for me. To make this review a little more special, I have taken the flacons to the park close to our flat and took some pictures with lovely flowers. I hope you will enjoy them as I share my thoughts about Sakura & Plum Blossom with you.

Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Kit, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you are having a good week. I am catching up with the blog since it started raining in Rome in the afternoon and I was not very well that prepared for this, especially in terms of shoes. Today it was as horrendous experience in Vatican City while trying to visit San Pietro Basilica. I am shocked by how Vatican treats people, by that I mean, the tourists. The line was inhuman and if you paid four times you could skip it. The people who didn't pay had to basically survive over 2-3 hours stand in row which was defined by wooden borders and those were fixed with some monster screws which you could basically crash into being squeezed from the back of the line. You could get hurt badly. The conditions were really nothing but safe. I took some photos of these. Although it is not related to make-up, if you are interested, I can post here. It was the worst line I had to go through in my whole life. Anyone tried to go in there and experienced the same thing?

Today I have a contouring product for you, Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Kit. Recently contouring became very popular. I was chatting with some of you about that in Instagram. I personally think not everyone should contour. I am seeing slim faced people who contoured themselves to death with stripes on the sides of their faces, usually of very warm shades, I despair. But if your face is round or you can profit from a little bit of emphasize on the bone structure, and if you find the right shade to do this, it is a nice trick which might work. Today I would like to show you how Smashbox's Kit worked for me.

Sisley Phyto 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quartet #1 Dream, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you had a nice start in the week or you are ready to start tomorrow in case you were having a holiday as we did. If you follow me in Instagram, you know today I am reporting from Rome. It is one of my favorite cities in the world. It always amazes me how much history is contained in the walls as well as over and even under the ground. Italien people are always very sweet and caring and they know how to do the ice cream right! Do I need more reasons?

Now back to this beauty I got to enjoy for a few weeks now. Sisley released two eye shadow quads with their Spring/Summer Collection which joined the permanent line. Sisley Phyto 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quartet in #1 Dream is a harmony in warm and cool naturals, in pink, bronze, beige and brown. Today I would like to share my thoughts about it.

YSL La Laque Couture #61 Brun Henné, #62 Joune Babouche for Summer 2015, Review, Swatch & Comparison

I hope you are all having a great Sunday. Tomorrow is bank holidays where I live which is great. Even better is that tomorrow I will be flying to Rome for 5 days. The posts during this period might get a bit sporadical. I prepared a few but I don't know if I will find time to edit and post. And for tonight, I have to yet pack. I am an extreme last minute packer. You can see me throwing in stuff minutes before leaving the house, lol.

I have the nail polishes from YSL Summer Collection for you today. I started feeling out of love with the brand recently. It is mainly due to the reformulation of their eye shadows, the fall out in their new 10 shades palettes and finally how things are going at the backstage of this blog which doesn't motivate me to post more YSL either. This is how I passed on the limited eye shadow palette from Summer after swatching at the counter. It is tones of brown. Their new eye shadow formula blends way too easy into each other. I think it works much better with shades which are not all that close (such as the one from last Summer which I reviewed here). This year's palette had very close colors across the product, hmm, no thanks. And it was more expensive than regular palettes although the packaging was regular. Why?

The nail polishes though, I had to have them because first of all I (still, somewhat, don't know why) collect them. And... both are very interesting shades which look like no other in my stash. And that is really hard.

Burberry Kisses Hydrating Lip Color #05 Nude Pink, #53 Crimson Pink, #89 Rose Blush, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are all having a great weekend. Here the weather is great which will stay like this until tomorrow. It will rain on Monday, exactly when we are leaving. Insert evil smile here.

I have been playing with three of the shades from Burberry Kisses formula which was released recently. I don't own many Burberry lippies although I am big on their powder products such as eye shadows and blushes. I have tried their Lip Mists before and loved the formula, lightweight, sheer and hydrating. They also have Lip Velvet, which is their more pigmented line I have to yet try. Kisses  line is supposed to bring these two together, offer more pigment while being hydrating. Here are my thoughts about the shades #05 Nude Pink, #53 Crimson Pink and #89 Rose Blush.

Diorskin Nude Air Healthy Glow Ultra-Fluid Serum Foundation, Review, Swatches & FOTD

I hope you are having a great Friday. Weekend is just hours away and weather is smiling, yay! As mentioned in yesterday's post, my parents are currently visiting us. I still sneak away for a post or two but expect some delay in answers to comments or lack of posts at social media. Bare with me until next weekend ;-)

Today I would like to share my thoughts about Diorskin Nude Air Healthy Glow Ultra-Fluid Serum Foundation. What a mighty name! Here are the thoughts of a normal to dry skin gal, who doesn't have many skin texture problems other than some spots, marks and redness. Her standards of longevity and ease of application are as high as it gets. Does Diorskin Nude Air make this gal happy? Right after the jump.

MAC Wash & Dry, Take 2, Golden Rinse, Delicates and Hipness, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing good. I am insanely busy since my parents are visiting me at the moment, I just found a bit of time to say hi and share some of my thoughts about MAC Wash & Dry Collection.

I have posted about Freshen Up blush/highlighter and Morange lipstick before (here) and shared some swatches with you. Although I have mentioned that I picked up Golden Rinse (Studio Sculpt Bronzer) and Tumble Dry (lipstick), I didn't write a full review about these. Make-up gods also sent me Delicates so would like to show you this as well. It must have fell from heaven because I was so undecided between Delicates and Golden Rinse. Then I went for Golden Rinse but... It was a wrong decision after all? Finally I would like to also review the new formula called MAC Studio Sculpt Defining Bronzing Powder. I noticed these are getting very mixed reviews. Here are my 5 cents for it...

A something in a summer’s day
As slow her flambeaux burn away
Which solemnizes me.

A something in a summer’s noon —
An a depth — an Azure — a perfume —
Transcending ecstasy.

After bringing out two new perfumes to their Brit Rhythm range, Floral for Her (reviewed here) and Intense for Him, Burberry recently extended their original Brit range. A new fresh summer breeze touches both male and female versions. Today I would like to share my thoughts about Burberry Brit Sheer for Her and Burberry Brit Splash for Him.

Clinique Pop Lip Color + Primer, Wow Pop, Grape Pop, Plum Pop & Melon Pop, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a good start in the week. We had my mother-in-law visiting, we had nice time together. Now my parents are coming this Thursday. I can't concentrate too much on guests at the moment though since on the professional side of life, I am about to give an important decision. As all important changes go, this comes with late night photo editing session since I can't fall asleep easily. My mind is occupied but for photo editing I don't need much of that. This is how I put together some photos of Clinique Pop Lipsticks I was enjoying for a few weeks now. Thanks so much to all of your good luck wished at Instagram.I am living through these. Xox

Yes... Clinique Pop... Lipstick and Primer merged in one product. I got to test four of the shades, Wow Pop, Grape Pop, Plum Pop and Melon Pop, here are my thoughts...

Guerlain Summer 2015, Terracotta #02 Natural Blondes & Rouge Automatique #662 Fluo Stiletto, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you all had a great weekend. My mind have been occupied with a few major changes which might occur in the months to come. This must be why I have been doing some uber-stupid things I have never done before. To give you an example, I was getting ready for bed and grabbed my eye cream, got a pump of it and distributed to both of my ring fingers to apply on both of the eyes at once. Then... I smeared it all over my glasses because I forgot I was wearing them! Gosh, it took me a good amount of washing and rubbing to get them off! Have you ever done such a thing or something similar?

Guerlain has a small but cute collection this year, which may especially please those who like aqua colors and right dose of bronzers. I have reviewed and compared the lovely nail polish here. Today I would like to write my thoughts about Terracotta #02 Natural Blondes which comes in a special sleeve and Rouge Automatique #662 Fluo Stiletto.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. We started our visitors and travels round for May. This weekend and the beginning of next week my mother in law is visiting us. Then my parents will be visiting next weekend. After that we will be traveling all together. I will try to schedule some posts but I might be a little slower with comments. Please bare with me until the end of May.

Today I have two illuminating products for summer, from this year's Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess Collection, Illuminating Powder Gelée and Nude Pearl Gloss Pen. Let's get the glow on, right after the jump!

Smashbox Bronze Lights Deep Matte and Fusion Softlights Baked Starblush, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you all had a great start in the weekend. I have been making my way through all the bronzers I have here to show you. If you are about to decide for a bronzer, give me a few days to share all my thoughts with you. It is incredibly exciting to see how different they are and how they can change the look. Sometimes it is hard to capture the effects with the camera but I will try my best to explain in words as well.

Today it is not only about a bronzer, but it is about a matte cool bronzer, which is one of my all time favorites for "contour/bronzing" product at the moment. I also like combining it with the new highlighter from Smashbox, which is very flattering on my skin tone. Everything... after the jump.

Bobbi Brown Face & Body Bronzing Duo Telluride / Elvis Duran, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Today it is a bank holiday in Stuttgart, so I got to enjoy sleeping a little longer. While I enjoy the coffee after a long breakfast, I was thinking about this...

Have you ever robbed a bank?

The question doesn't have to do with "make-up addiction", although we know it may also lead there... Today I ask it as more of a rhetorical question for my short rant. I hope you don't get tired of me doing this. Last time I received so many lovely comments, I thought there is a real potential of high quality discussion. This is something which bothers me since a week so I would like to share it with you right after the product review.

Bobbi Brown recently released Sandy Nudes Collection for Summer. Huge sized Bronzer Duos caught me attention. I got to try Face & Body Bronzing Duo Telluride / Elvis Duran last week, and here are my thoughts.

Sisley Phyto Eye Twist Long Lasting Eye Shadow #2 Bronze & #7 Havana, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

It is one of those lovely weeks when hump day is already over on Tuesday since we have Thursday off in the south of Germany. It also started getting a bit more productive so loving it so far. I am recently considering to finally purchase some good lighting to shorten my editing time and increase the quality of my photos (I started getting very unsatisfied about them). I have been researching but I started getting confused by all different shapes and types of lights available in the market. Time to read and watch tutorials I guess. I hope I won't fall into another rabbit hole after make-up that is. All kinds of recommendations are appreciated.

Today I have two of the newly released Sisley Phyto Eye Twist Long Lasting Eye Shadows for you which I had been testing for the last couple of weeks. The packaging is similar to their concept of Phyto Lip Twists but the brand logo is written in blue instead of red. There is a cap and the product can be taken out by twisting the bottom of the pencil. Here are my thoughts on how they apply and perform on me.

Tom Ford Cream and Powder Duo #03 Golden Peach & Lip Color Sheer in Rose Soleil, Review, Swatch, Comparisons & FOTD

I hope you all had a good start in the week. Today was not a very productive day for me but hoping that it will get better during the week. It is a short week in Germany though. Are you having bank holiday on Thursday too?

Today I have two more pretties from Tom Ford Summer Collection for you (you can find my other reviews here, here and here). I thought two products from the collection would make a match made in heaven. I am talking about sheer lips in shimmery natural pink with Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Rose Soleil and peach gold on eyes with Tom Ford Cream and Powder Duo #03 Golden Peach

Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-01 Benikakesora for Summer 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you all had a great weekend. Our flat needed a good cleaning, which took us all day (with help that is!). It was such a sunny day which was calling for some swatches or a nice day out at the park but what had to be done had to be done. I am hoping the weather will go on like this. We have a three day week next week. Also hubby has birthday on Thursday, falling on a bank holiday this year.

I have previously raved about Suqqu Summer Collection and reviewed one of the trios, Suqqu Eye Color Palette Ex-02 Yosaizora. I have been wearing Yasoizora constantly since then. It gives me such a lovely polished look which is noticeable (not nude but natural). When I swatched the other trio called Ex-01 Benikakesora in Tokyo, I gasped with excitement. The middle shade is really very pretty, especially under store light. The inspiration behind Benikakesora is the red sky when the sun sets. I wore it yesterday for a dinner date to our favorite Japanese restaurant. Today I would like to share my thoughts and yesterday's FOTD with you.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Review

I hope you are all having a great weekend. It feels like the half of it is over without having done all that much. There is hope though, next week is a three day week, so there is something to look forward to. Highlights of today include playing with Suqqu Summer Trios and visiting our favorite Japanese restaurant for dinner. And tomorrow is the big cleaning day!

Recently I am into minimal bases combined with a good spot on concealing. That way I feel that my skin can show through more and the resulting finish looks more natural. I started searching for tinted moisturizers which offer just enough coverage with which I can live with. Having dry skin, it is also important for me that the base product is not drying and that it doesn't emphasize my dry patches.

I have been testing bareMinerals Complexion Rescue for over a month now and here are my thoughts about it.

Tom Ford Cream and Powder Duo #02 Black Oyster, Cream Cheek Color #01 Pink Sand for Summer 2015, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

There is nothing like starting the weekend with a touch of sweet headache. I am guessing some sushi and pink champagne combination will do the trick though. What is your favorite food combo to welcome the weekend?

Tom Ford fever is going on here. I have been glued to his make-up from Summer collection since days, coming up with some looks to share with you. Despite quiet a few repromotes, this collection is really pretty in that sense the pieces combine so well together. Today I would like to share my thoughts about one of the Cream and Powder Duos and Cream Cheek Color.

Tom Ford Eye and Cheek Compact Pink Glow for Summer 2015, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you are having a nice week. After letting a few things off my chest yesterday, here I am again, back to duty of sharing super pretty things with you. Thanks so much for all your comments to yesterday's post, I felt so lucky to have readers who share my opinions. I will take my time to reply them one by one tonight.

I haven't inserted a Summer 2015 tab yet but in case you missed, I already reviewed Dior (eyes & face and nails) and Chanel (eyes, nails and face) Summer Collections. Today I am starting with the reviews of fabulous Tom Ford, yes, he is isn't he?

Tom Ford Summer 2015 Soleil Collection consist of an Eye & Cheek Palette, four eye shadow duos, four sheer lip colors (two of them being repromotes), a cream cheek color. There are now also smaller sized bronzers in the existing shades Gold Dust and Terra as well as a body oil. This year's collection is larger compared to last years which means, yay, more Tom Ford!

I would like to start my reviews with Tom Ford Eye and Cheek Compact in Pink Glow because it looks like the "hardest to get" item. Pink Glow was sold out very fast at Selfridge's Website. A dear friend picked it up for me in store in London (insert many special thanks here!). I don't know if the stocks of the stores still last. In the States, I see that it is on back order, in Germany it is not released yet, so if you are eyeing it, better check it out from time to time (now Douglas also has Tom Ford LE items!). For those who can't make up their minds, here are my thoughts on Eye & Cheek Compact. I also include lots of comparison swatches, so if you missed it, you may attempt to reconstruct it from other permanent Tom Ford products.

Estée Lauder Little Black Primer, Review & Swatch

Estée Lauder recently released a brand new product: Little Black Primer. This made me take a moment to think about innovation in general. Right when we think everything is already made, someone comes up with an idea and everyone wonders why they didn't think about it on the first place. We are applying white primers to our eye lashes for years and years. Did you ever think why it is white? Why? Maybe someone from laboratory and chemistry side of things may chime in and let us know. As a user I can see with my bare eyes that the new black "thing" works. So much for the spoiler... See it yourself after the jump. And the name of the product, amazing!

Today's post is not only about an eye lash primer which works, which is the rave part of things. I would like to also write what is recently bothering me to the point I lost some of my "kindness" while answering some of the comments. This is the rant part, hope you can bare with me on that. This is also after the jump...

Guerlain La Lacque Couleur #700 Blue Ocean, Review, Swatch & Comparisons

During my recent visit to the counter to check out for any Summer Collections which might appear, I spotted Guerlain at Stuttgart Breuninger. The collection is rather small with two repromoted bronzers which have gummy cases. The lovely SA told me that they are for the beach. I don't see the point in taking bronzers to the beach but if you do, please tell me what exactly you do with them. All I take to the beach is sun screen and hair sun protector. I checked the liquid eye shadows. They are nice, though one is really too light for my taste (the gold one). I was seriously tempted by the green one. Yet again I know I have similar products (from Dior) and I never use them. I might still go back for the green eye shadow to match with the gorgeous nail polish I picked up. And yes today it is about that polish. It is called Guerlain La Lacque Couleur #700 Blue Ocean. *happy sigh*

Glowing Tan/Orange Lips: Laura Mercier Paint Wash in Sunblaze and Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in Taupe, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope everyone is having a smooth start in the week. This week is a full 5 days week in Germany between all kinds of long weekends so after we "survive" this there are great times ahead. I am also traveling at the end of May again. This year has been a year of travel so far but I can't complain.

Although I like presenting full collection looks with at least 2-3 pieces, sometimes I receive single pieces in the mail. I try to combine and match them. Today's post is about glowing tan and orange lips. I kept the eye make-up simple and muted with Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in Taupe. I was told to wear more orange on my lips after my MAC Wash & Dry post so this is what I did with Laura Mercier Paint Wash in Sunblaze today. I will review the bronzer and the highlighter I used here in a separate post.

Chanel Stylo Eye Shadow #107 Campanule, #117 Azulejo, #127 Laurier Rose, #137 Olivine, #147 Caroube and Style Yeux #997 Orchidée, Swatch, Review & FOTD for Summer 2015 Collection

I hope you are having a great weekend. On this side of the world it is over. *sigh* I can't believe the whole long weekend thing was not all that long after all. I had a long to do list, including starting Facebook Page for Color Me Loud (have you liked it yet?) and depoting 10 limited edition MAC eyeshadows. The latter was done at 2 am in the morning on Saturday night. I stuck the knife a few times in the eye shadow pan, they now have a few small holes but they are usable. Bad news is that I forgot to get magnetic sheet so they fall out from the palette.

I have been writing some longish posts lately and started getting a little exhausted. I am considering to get tomorrow off after showing you Chanel Summer Collection Stylo Eye Shadows. I liked the previous versions a lot (reviewed here and here) and used them often for the last years so I decided to splurge on all the shades when I saw them at tax free shop in Schiphol Airport. I wouldn't get the blue one, #117 Azulejo but I couldn't leave just one behind (you know this psychology?). So here are my thoughts about Chanel Stylo Eye Shadow #107 Campanule, #117 Azulejo, #127 Laurier Rose, #137 Olivine, #147 Caroube. There is also one Style Yeux called #997 Orchidée which is a gorgeous purple, which of course had to come with me too.

Full Swatches of MAC Wash & Dry Collection, Review of Freshen Up Highlight Powder, Morange Lipstick, Comparisons & FOTD

I hope you are all having a great weekend. I went to the city today to check out the new collections. On top of my list was MAC Wash & Dry Collection. Since last year's Alluring Aquatics Collection knocked me off my feet, I had very high expectations. Last year I ended up picking almost all the pieces of that collection (reviewed herehere and here). Today, the aim was to swatch everything but then I got distracted, you know why if you follow me at Instagram. Any how after a while he went and I could take more swatches. I put together a picture heavy post for those of you who would like to order online, it might come handy.

I would like to start my review with two pieces I was testing for a few weeks now. MAC Freshen Up Highlight Powder and Morange Lipstick. I also picked up two more items today, Tumble Dry Lipstick and Golden Rinse Studio Sculpt Bronzer. Here are my thoughts...

RMK Casual Solid Foundation & Brush, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Happy International Workers' Day to everyone who celebrate it. We have a day off here in Germany, which was great for me after all the traveling, I could sleep long and do a few chores at home. I also tried to remove some of the mess from my make-up table. It didn't work all that great. I know I have to purge lots of items but I don't have much time for a blog sale. It is a lot of organization. Sometimes I wish some of the items I haven't used would evaporate and condensate as money. How nice would it be?

Other news, finally I had some time to bring Color Me Loud to Facebook! I didn't want to do it originally because of a stupid reason... Another icon wouldn't fit under "About Me" section on the right column. I made some calculations and found out by reducing the size of the icons, it was indeed possible. I hope they are not too small now. If you find the time to like my page, you make me happy :-) Oh and I also installed snapchat, my user name is sarabeautime but I couldn't figure out yet how to make use out of it. That is still work in progress.

Now onto what I have for you today... It is a very exciting product because I haven't used something like this before and it is rare that I can say that. Let's take a look at RMK Casual Solid Foundation and RMK Casual Solid Foundation brush.
