RMK Summer 2016 Collection, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Friday! As I started typing these lines, you can't imagine how much water was pouring from the sky. I have never seen such a rain, it is almost as intense as someone pouring a bucket onto your head with the exception that he is doing it over the whole city. This Spring has been very rainy in Germany. I don't know how you are coping up with it where you are living. People even died here, be it a thunder strike or a flood. Lastly they even had to cancel the rest of the shows at a rock festival.

I have some color for you today. RMK's Summer Collection made me sigh when I saw the packaging of those, colorful and metallic tubes, they almost look like edible, beauty blogger kind of bonbons. I love the fact that Japanese Make-up is geared towards sun protection and water resistance as far as Summer Collections go. I am hoping we see more products with UV protection from Western Brands for summer as well. I tested three shades of RMK Lip Care Color UV Sticks for you as well as two shades of RMK Crayon Color Eyes and a limited edition color of their phenomenal blushes RMK Ingenious Powder Cheeks. Here are my thoughts about them.

Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette, Review, Swatch & FOTD

The week started fast, it is that time of the year, we are late as usual and trying to rush our tax declaration. This year since I became a civil servant, it started to get more complicated. We probably need help since we are both so clueless and also very unmotivated to fill out the forms. There are those people who are on top of the game and know how to make cents but I'd rather play with make-up.

Due to organisational complications, I received 20th year Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette a little later so this might not be the hottest news out there but still I liked one of the eye looks I have done with it worthy of sharing. I am super excited about Alice in Wonderland Collection and hoping those come to Germany. I am a big fan of Lewis Carroll and own early copies of his books which I collected some time ago. One make-up matches with my interests, I can't help but get excited. But first, here are my thoughts about the first Vice Palette I have tested from the brand.

Chanel Les 4 Ombres #272 Tissé Dimensions, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Wish you all a wonderful weekend. Today in Stuttgart it is raining so much that we are about to convince ourselves that with global heating a tropical weather is about to be established over the ski resorts just a few hundred kilometers away. Wouldn't that be fun?

Chanel recently brought out a collection for eyes with three new eye shadow Les 4 Ombres palettes and Stylo Eyeshadows. Although I own all the Stylos released up to date but I decided to skip these this time around because in the morning I forget not to apply it near the eyes, like on my water line and end up burning my eyes. I also don't want something around my eyes which irritates them if it gets in, no thanks.

This left me pretty much with the palettes. I was about to get all three of them because you know I am such a fan of Chanel's recent eye shadow formula. I purchased all of their palettes from the permanent line up. I was about to order all three. That was before I stumbled upon a discussion at Instagram. Some make-up enthusiasts were not so delighted with the formula of these and they wrote that these are much different than the permanent palettes which were released two years ago. Needless to say I got very curious but decided to play it safe and get one of the new offers, Chanel Les 4 Ombres #272 Tissé Dimensions, to find out if they indeed had another formula. After testing this one out for a week on several days, here are my thoughts.

Soleil de La Mer The Bronzing Powder, Review, Swatch & FOTD

It is finally Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I haven't even made it to downtown for so many weeks, so I guess it will be another working weekend for me. But the good news is that there is less than four weeks left, so yay, counting back to keep the motivation high. I am also planning to spend six weeks by the sea side, the thought of it keeps me hanging on.

For the last couple of weeks I have been enjoying one of the most gorgeous bronzers of all time, Soleil de La Mer Bronzing Powder. On my skin tone it is something between a bronzer and a Belle Mine Powder which became a thing recently after various luxury brands such as Chanel, Guerlain and Givenchy launched their versions. I have a comparison in terms of shade and texture at the end of this post too, hope it is helpful for those who can't say no to such a pretty product. A little spoiler though, this one is more than a pretty face.
