Tom Ford Solar Exposure, Shade & Illuminate Lips & Cheeks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Easter! Hope most of you are enjoying the wonderful long weekend. It has been rainy here recently but the temperatures are mild and pleasant. Cherry trees are already in full bloom, a sight to see. There is one right across our window, can't get enough watching it.

I have already mentioned that I ordered third Tom Ford Soleil Eye and Cheek Palette, called #03 Solar Exposure together with my bulk Suqqu order from Selfridges around a month ago. I would like to share my thoughts a little earlier but I wasn't sure if I made the best out of this palette because it didn't look as well as the other two (reviewed here) on me. So today is the day I am sharing my thoughts about it, together with one of the Shade & Illuminate Lips and Cheeks as well. I have been testing Tom Ford Summer Collection for a few weeks as well and I will catch up with the review of that very soon, but first Spring, right after the jump.

Suqqu UK Exclusive Summer 2017 Collection, Review, Full Swatches & FOTD

Hope you all had lovely weekend and that yours was more productive than mine. I would like to get a few more posts done but sometimes killing time is my biggest talent together with some lady days that suck away all my energy and make me want to stay in bed all day.

All right too much information there, let me smoothly move the subject onto these lovelies that are about to be released. I know that many of my readers were very pleased with the previous Suqqu UK exclusives releases that are designed by Jorge Balzaretti since those usually have cooler shades in unusual combinations of more vivid colors. UK Exclusive Summer 2017 Collection is the first one with the new formula quads but it definitely preserves the spirit of the previous releases.

I have been playing with them for a few weeks now, my thoughts and swatches are right after the jump.

Jo Malone London Star Magnolia Review

Having a Jo Malone London blast, hence right after writing about Bloomsbury Collection, I would like to share my thoughts with you about the new limited edition launch Star Magnolia that will be released in the beginning of May.

It is a very different direction than the boozy woody and very heady fragrances of Bloomsbury, Star Magnolia is a lovely soft floral like an ocean breeze on a summer day. You can find my thoughts and more information about this release right after the jump.

Jo Malone London Whisky & Cedarwood and Blue Hyacinth for Bloomsbury Collection, Review

Wishing you a wonderful week right before it starts. Jo Malone London's Bloomsbury Collection that is recently released was for me one of the most inspiring collections from the brand for a very long time. I remember getting almost as excited about Rock The Ages (reviewed here) and ending up with four of the five fragrances back then. Bloomsbury Collection was inspired by the Bloomsbury Group, which is an influential group of associated English writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists, just to name a few Vanessa Bell, Virginia Woolf and Lytton Strachey. They were meeting in a farm house in Sussex called Charleston Farmhouse. Fragrances in this collection are inspired by this house and its parts such as the pond, the garden, the library.

After taking photos of Whiskey & Cedarwood and Blue Hyacinth, I went ahead and ordered Leather & Artemisia and I would like to share my thoughts about all three of these fragrances although you can only see how pretty two of them look together. I am blown away with how unique two of these three fragrances are and the third one does a great job in combination with the other two. More details are right after the jump.

Clarins Contouring Perfection for Spring 2017, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. After the first two weeks of the semester is over, I am getting back on track. Summer Collections started showing up so it is time to wrap up my thoughts about the lovelies I was testing from Spring Collections. I have made so many photos recently since the new semester started, can't wait to share them with you and hear your thoughts.

Clarins released two Spring Collections, the regular one called Contouring Perfection focuses on sculpting the face with contour/blush/highlight duo while keeping the rest of the face fresh and springy. There is a very interesting and innovative product for those who are into liners in that one. The second one was about every day easy to use lip and blush duo, composed of three shades of Skin Illusion Blushes and lip balm in new limited edition packaging. I would like to share my thoughts on both of them in this post, right after the jump.

Chanel Coco Codes/Énergies Et Puretés Collections My Picks, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a wonderful week. Mine was very hectic because of the first week of lectures but hoping it will get better next week. Good news is that I started wearing make-up daily so FOTDs are already piling up and waiting to complete the swatches I had been taking during the break. To be able to catch up, today I will be presenting all my recent Chanel hauls at once.

As I mentioned earlier, in Germany now we have chanel.de which is great news but there is some problems with the delivery company they are working with. I ordered Coco Codes Collection earlier than its release in Germany but it took more than 2 weeks to reach me. More about this and my feelings about the products I had been using are all after the jump.

Sisley Paris Izia Eau de Parfum, Review

I wish you all a lovely weekend as it just starts. Today I would like to go with the Fragrance Friday tradition and share my thoughts about a brand new release from La Maison Sisley, one of my all time favorite brands in skin care and make up. There is little not to fall in love in their range of products and I throughly appreciate the fact that they are not taken by the seasonal low quality releases but instead stick with a well crafted permanent collection.

Sisley fragrances are dream for chypre lover but this time around they went for another concept all together, something fresh and elegant, a rose overload right from the gardens onto your skin.

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." said Shakespeare so in case you wonder if Sisley does the rose better, here are my thoughts about Sisley Paris Izia Eau de Parfum.

Chanel Le Vernis #584 Bleu Pastel, #552 Resplendissant, Review, Swatch & Comparison

I wish you all a wonderful weekend. I have been told that the nail polish posts were missed on Color Me Loud so I thought I'd reviews the lovely two shades Chanel released, Chanel Le Vernis #584 Bleu Pastel and #552 Resplendissant for Énergies et Prutés Collection. This collection is what formerly was an Asia Exclusive but was usually released in the States with a little delay. This year I am very excited to see that it is available at chanel.de in Germany. I love the fact that it reduces the tremendous black market earns of some people on evilB but I have mixed feelings about the delivery company they chose to work with. I will write about my less than stellar experience on my next post because I reserved this one for pure nail talk.

But before we start, I would like to ask you, have you noticed the new design of the blog? I'd love to hear what you think of that if you find a little time to browse on home page. New Features are those such as you can select one of the categories, i.e. fragrance, skin care, foundation, eye shadow etc. or you can check out the lasts post of a particular brand. Last time when I changed the design, there had been problems in terms of visibility of my site on search engines and it was a lovely reader who contact me to report about it. If you have any problems of the functions you were previously using, please let me know. I will fix it as soon as I can.

So without further ado, here are my thoughts and some comparison swatches.

La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF 20 and Foundation Brush, Review & Swatches

Wishing you all a wonderful week. I have been testing some foundations recently and I would like to share my thoughts with you during the next days. It is always exciting to see a new foundation being released by a well renowned luxury skin care brand because to me those are exactly the brands who know how to layer something all over your face without irritating nor drying it out. When it comes with the claim of being long wearing and hydrating as well as pores refining and healing, it excites the cosmetic nerds in us. Does it hold the claims? Read on for my thoughts on La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation and Foundation Brush.

Aerin Evening Rose d'Or for D'OR Collection, Review & Photos

I hope you have a great start to the week. I have been photographing last days for the collections I would like to share with you soon but at the same time you wouldn't believe that I am still correcting exams. I received my order from Selfridges that contained the rest of the eye shadow palettes so there will be lots of that and many more, stay tuned.

On the fragrance side, I have been testing the Bloomsbury Collection of Jo Malone that I will be writing about very soon and Tom Ford Vent de Fleur is capturing my heart a little more each day. Today though, it is about one of Aerin D'Or Collection fragrances, a revamped version of one of their most loved perfume, Evening Rose. The regular offering was already so elegant and irresistibly boozy, now the bottle is dressed in gold and it got even better. Intrigued? After the jump...

Suqqu Designing Color Eyes #01 Yuushakuyaku, #101 Sumizakurairo, Pure Color Blush #06 and Extra Glow Lipsticks #13, #102 for Spring 2017, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am not completely finished with exam corrections but almost there. Meanwhile I have been testing lots of make-up perfume and skin care, those I will be sharing with you shortly starting from this week and hopefully more frequently during the semester break.

Today's post has been long due but since SUQQU reformulated their eye shadows, I would like to experiment with them longer before giving my final verdict. Just two days ago, the Spring Collection, that is composed of six eye shadow palettes in new formula called Designing Color Eyes (one limited-edition), five Extra Glow Lipsticks (two limited-edition) and three new Pure Color Blushes (one limited-edition) is released in Fenwick London Bond Street and Harrods. A few weeks ago the collection was first released in Selfridges. There had been also some complaints I happen to come across in Instagram about the availability of the products and I would like to write my thoughts about this issue as well. Right after the jump, hope you find it helpful.

Tom Ford Lips & Boys 2016, My Picks, Aaron, Ashton, Dominic, Elliot, Jack, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Hi everyone. I hope you had a great start in the week. I am officially finished with the exams at the end of last week but still have to correct two more subjects. I am taking my time for that because I was hit really hard by some virus since last week Wednesday. Since then I am feeling really weak, that is when my nose is not running and I am not coughing. I was about to believe that I didn't get sick a single time this semester and winter was already over... One can dream.

Of course being sick delayed some of the FOTDs I was planning to do this weak due to runny eyes and everything fun that comes with it. I know you are all waiting for my Suqqu review, which I am trying to post very soon. Meanwhile I thought I'd share with you some FOTDs I am enjoying lately with five of the fifty new Lips & Boys shades of Tom Ford. I hope you like them.

Suqqu 2016 Christmas Makeup Kit A Suouiro, Honey Comb, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Wishing you all a wonderful week. I started with a lovely Spring Collection Event today, you might have caught me posting in Instagram once again. Until I am finished with the exams week and eventually correct them, I will be posting sporadically but then again there are so many lovely items I would like to write about, so you might be hearing from me sooner than later. I was asked if I have Suqqu Spring, yes I have a few products here and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you. There are new eyeshadow palettes, woohoo! I am also trying to order some more to show swatches and eye looks of all the new palettes. But before that here is about the holiday palette I was enjoying recently, Suqqu Christmas Makeup Kit A in Suouiro. By the way would you like me to post some looks with Ex-35 and Ex-36 for those who have them?

This year's holiday collection had two lovely palettes that come with a gloss in a make-up bag in a set. One of them was navy themed and the other one, Kit A was gold and coral. You know how much I love a rabbit eye so I knew Suouiro had to be mine. It turned out though, it is not that much of a rabbit but more of a twist in neutral. Intrigued?

Tom Ford Soleil Eye and Cheek Palettes Cool & Warm, Lip Foils Private Life, Aperture and Seadragon, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It was the last weeks of lectures already so after the exams, that is in a few weeks, I would like to catch up and show you some Spring Collection items I laid my hands on. Starting in February I will be blogging regularly.

Before that I thought I share what I enjoyed and what I hated most during the last two months and hopefully learn your favorites. I would like to start on a high note and with one of my favorite Winter/Holiday Collection of the last season, that is Tom Ford Winter Soleil Collection. I have taken many FOTDs and the products are still available so hope you enjoy this post. I missed you all a lot so if you just drop by the comments and say hi, I'd be a happy muffin.
