Giorgio Armani Runway Spring/Summer 2015 Palette, Review, Swatches & FOTD

Although I would like to show the new and extremely limited Giorgio Armani Runway Spring/Summer 2015 Palette to you already yesterday, I got too frustrated to write a product post and started writing a "rambling post" instead. When I stopped, it was over two pages of just text and nothing else of me talking about everything which is going on at the "back stage" of Color Me Loud. Afterwards I thought I would rather not push the publish button. I was really not sure how interesting it is for you to read my frustration of some of the companies valuing bloggers like make-up baggers or freebie hunters. I started as a make-up enthusiast to my journey with this blog. I have a full-time job which I like and I am in no ways thinking to make a business out of this. But once it gets really unfair or impolite like it did yesterday, it starts occupying my mind more than it should. I fear that I am loosing the spirit. Make-up gods save me!

Alright, back to the topic. I was at Stuttgart Breuninger and noticed a new tester of Giorgio Armani make-up lying around. I was waiting for these to launch but it was a really sneaky launch. Until I noticed it, it was already sold out! The representatives there know me since there has been times I left my whole wallet there *cough cough*. So they somehow managed to arrange one of the reserved pieces of nail polish and the palette for me. Today I would like to share my thoughts after using the palette yesterday.

MAC Toledo Collection Take 2: Kindergarten Red, Oxblood, Violetwink and Chlorafill, Review, Swatch and FOTD

From upcoming MAC designer collections, Toledo stole my heart with beautiful packaging design and gorgeous ombre blushes. Although I didn't feel the red lipsticks all that much, the nude lipstick called Oxblood called my name. I also wanted to try the green liner and give the purple palette a go. Here is what my thoughts are for the second part of my picks from MAC. Check the first part of my Toledo Collection review here.

Guerlain Poudre De Soie Illuminating Powder Silk Shimmer, Review, Swatch & Comparison

A few months ago photos of a new highlighter from Guerlain hit social media. The word was that it would only be released in Japan and Dubai. There could also be some pieces sent to some retailers in Asia. While all the speculations going on about where and how it will appear, I asked dear Stacey , who lives in Dubai, to keep an eye on it. She told me she feels like a magical make-up finding fairy but it would be an understatement! She was more like a hawk who was landing on our prey the moment she saw it. Needless to say, she didn't give it any chance for it to escape.

So today it is about this beautiful highlighter and how I feel about it after I took it to bed with me (literally!)

Beauty Influencer’s Sunday Column: Vol.2

Hi everyone, wish you all a lovely Sunday. After the introduction of BISC, Beauty Influencer's Sunday Column, in the beginning of February here we are back with a new episode. The question is, what make-up advice would each of us give to make-up newbies. I really like the question and think that not only beginners but many of us can benefit by reading advices of others who struggled with something to get it right. I am still considering myself a beginner to maximize what I can learn! Oh and we are now divided into two groups since it was rather a long post to read last time. Here are the answers of my group...

Tom Ford Cream Color For Eyes Spring 2015, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

It is sunny, it is warm and it is Friday! Can you tell that I am super content? Although I know tomorrow it is going to rain hmpf...

While everyone was waiting for Eye Shadow Duos to be released, Tom Ford sneakily launched their Spring 2015 Runway look in some countries as a separate capsule collection. I spotted a new cream eye shadow at Selfridges two weeks ago. I was confused since there were no news of that one coming. I am a big fan of Tom Ford Cream Eye Color formula and I didn't want to miss the chance of a new color. I am still regretting not getting Illicit *cries*. Thanks to a dear friend I got my hands on one of the cream eye shadow, which has no other name but called "Spring 2015". Today I have some swatches, comparisons and in-action photos for you, let's get rolling!

Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick #2 Coral, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Congratulations to those who have made it to the middle of the week. I have something super pretty for you today. Bobbi Brown recently released Brightening Bricks in six colors. Those are multi-purpose cheek and face products to use as a blusher, bronzer, highlighter or anything else you see fit. They are very different than Bobbi Brown Shimmering Bricks, the shimmer in those are understated but super pretty. Against all the odds, #2 Coral stole my heart, today it is all about it.

YSL Couture Variation 10-Color Eye Palette #2 Tuxedo, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Today I am seriously having a writer's block. I would like to review a perfume but those require a bit more inspiration. I started writing without success. So now I am swatching to a palette post and hoping my muse be back soon.
YSL released two ten color palettes this Spring, one of them with a classical nude color story, called #1 Nu which I have reviewed (and compared) here. Although many of you commented that you find #2 Tuxedo, cool naturals and blue violet combination, more exciting, I have observed that my photos of #1 Nu received more likes at Instagram. #1 Nu was also sold out online a few days after its release in Germany. The demand has spoken, we want more nude palettes!

Nevertheless in Color Me Loud we give color always a chance ... Let's take a look at YSL Couture Variation 10-Color Eye Palette #2 Tuxedo.

Tom Ford Eye Color Duo #03 Crushed Indigo, Review, Swatch, FOTD & Comparisons, for Spring 2015

I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. It is kind of sunny here but rather cold. I prefer sunny and cold to warm and rainy so I am happy with that right now. We will go to take a walk at the park very close to our place as I keep on preparing for few of the deadlines which are in the week after the next week. Spring eye shadow madness is going on. I have yet to share my thoughts about a few more. Expect to see Suqqu, YSL and Bobbi Brown next week. But first I would like to review the last duo I haven't written about from Tom Ford Spring Collection.

Tom Ford Eye Color Duo #03 Crushed Indigo is the blue one of the three wet & dry duos released by the brand. Other two are plum (Ripe Plum, reviewed here) and green (Raw Jade, reviewed here). I am particularly excited about this collection because it gives us some color and does it in an unconventional way. who would have expected smoky shades for spring collection? I think the shades work nicely though, green is very springy, plum I can wear all year around and blue? Let's see...

YSL Couture Variation 10-Color Eye Palette #1 Nu, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

Wish you all a wonderful weekend and happy V-Day. I don't have a V-Day look post for you since I have a cosmetic hill in the living room waiting to be reviewed. I don't even want to think about the promised best of 2014 posts, which will probably never happen. I might move them to Instagram if you would like me to? I am planning soon to have a best to Spring 2015 though. For those of you who wouldn't like to miss the highlights before they are gone.

Last week YSL released two large palettes which are called Couture Variation 10-Color Eye Palette. There are two different color stories, #1 Nu, which I am going to write about today is a nude palette with neutral shades from warm to cool tones. #2 Tuxedo is a combination of greys, blues and purples.

Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

As the cushion fever reached out to "West" early this year, Lancôme became one of the first to embrace the trend. I was wondering about the cushion thing already last year and thanks to my dear friend Linda, who gifted me a Laneige BB Cushion, I have tested and reviewed it. You can read my thoughts here.

Lancôme's Miracle Cushion Foundation is launched in the beginning of February. Suddenly there were many voices, reviews, thumbs in both directions and discussions. Only way to find out was to try it out. Here is my two cents after testing it for two weeks.

A Minuet of Roses: Jo Malone London Red Roses Cologne, Review

“You're beautiful, but you're empty...One couldn't die for you.
Of course, an ordinary passer-by would think my rose looked just like you.
But my rose, all on her own, is more important than all of you together,
since she's the one I've watered.
Since she's the one I put under glass,
since she's the one I sheltered behind the screen.
Since she's the one for whom I killed the caterpillars (except the two or three butterflies).
Since she's the one I listened to when she complained,
or when she boasted,
or even sometimes when she said nothing at all.
Since she's my rose.”
-Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, from The Little Prince

Valentine's Day being just around the corner, I would like to start with this beautiful piece about roses and love. Today it is about a beautiful fragrance just for your rose, be it your mother, lover, sister or yourself. Jo Malone London Red Roses Cologne puts a large bouquet of red roses in a bottle.

La Mer The Illuminating Eye Gel. Does it really work?

Sometimes I hear one of you saying "I am not sold on eye creams". You know what I think about it? "You lucky you!". If you need it, then you know it. Now read this, I can do without facial moisturizing for a few days, but without an eye cream, I can't go pass 24 hour mark. Dry under eye area is no fun, it is very uncomfortable. Combine it with under eye circles, you double the fun. Any concealer would accentuate the dry flakes and make it feel even drier. Setting the concealer, better not! The story of my life, I have been searching for the right eye cream and concealer combination.

I am thinking to feature some of the eye creams I have been testing for you with similar problems. Also I would love to hear what works for you best and open a discussion for dry under eyes ladies, ready? Let's start with La Mer The Illuminating Eye Gel.

There will be so much gorgeousness going on this weekend, I can hardly contain myself. There will be a new collaboration which we will announce tomorrow. And many requested reviews coming up.

Tom Ford Eye Color Duo #01 Ripe Plum, Review, Swatch, FOTD & Comparisons, for Spring 2015

After writing my first impressions yesterday, I decided not to hold the review for Tom Ford Eye Color Duo #01 Ripe Plum any longer. It was probably the most asked for quad on the comments and to me it is the most beautiful one. Yes it is purple and I am impartial when it comes to purples, so objectivity is out of question, but so what, look how pretty it is...

Tom Ford Eye Color Duo #01 Ripe Plum, #02 Raw Jade, #03 Crushed Indigo, Swatches & First Impressions, for Spring 2015

I am so excited for today's post. Partly because it is about one of my all time favorite brands, Tom Ford and partly since I waited so long for these to be released. All those media images making me drool, it was not fair. The last releases of the brand were more concentrated on the lips and you know I am more of a smoked eye, all about that gaze, kind of gal, which is another reason why I am going crazy about these products... Tom Ford Eye Color Duos!

Tom has done it again. In Spring everyone goes pastel, pink dress, lady, Cinderella, girly girl with a sweet smile, Tom goes rock'n roll. Bring it on Tom, I am so over pastels!

Today it is about first impressions and swatches kind of post for those of you who can't wait to place an order (I feel you). I will post detailed reviews and eye looks in a few days so stay tuned for those as well.

Do you also have the same feeling that this week is going quiet fast? It is no where as fast as the last weekend though ;-) It is quiet cold and dark here, some snow here and there but more ice than snow, booh. I am so ready for spring.

Today I have soft pinks and taupe for the eyes. YSL Ombres De Jour Eye Shadow Palette has a lovely color story. The first time I saw it, I must sighed with happiness. Does it delivers what it promises? Let's try to find out.

"In its way, a perfume is an invisible dress,
playing on the tension between what is hidden,
and what is revealed"

-Thierry Wasser

Today what I have for you is nothing new but something which I needed to lift my spirit on this dark and snowy day. A kick of cherry, a bit of spice and take deep long breath. Now we can start talking about Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum.

YSL La Lacquer Couture #58 Nuit Blanche & #59 Nuit Noire Review & Swatches, for Spring 2015 Collection

Years ago I have fallen in love with YSL Nail Polish formula. To me it is one of the safe formulas out there which I can count on. It almost never disappoints in terms of brush strokes or opaqueness. I try to collect the limited edition nail polishes. I have gone through a lot trying to find some very limited edition shades such as The Spices Collection last year. But then I look at the last number I have, the leather effect nail polishes (#52, #53), and two of them which are launched this spring, I can't help by wonder, what happened to #54, #55, #56 and #57. Any insight would be appreciated ;-)

Back to where we start shall we? YSL's Spring Collection has two new limited shades for the nails, #58 Nuit Blanche and #59 Nuit Noire. Looks intriguing in the bottle? Let's have a closer look...

Laneige BB Cushion SPF 50+ No.21 Natural Beige Foundation Review & Swatch

I hope you are having a great weekend. Mine was too short, as always ;-)

Korean skin care and cosmetics are well renoved and lately trends are slowly being embraced by some of the Western brands as well. I was chatting with Linda from Silverkis and she was telling me about her excitement of BB Cushions. Having not tried any of them, I was very curious. She generously gifted me a Laneige BB Cushion Foundation after that. I have been testing it since early December and each time I mentioned it on Instagram, I could feel the excitement of everyone else there. Today I would like to share my thoughts with you.

Nars Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Nars Dual-Intensity Eye Shadows were one of the products that caused lots of buzz in 2014. These arrived to Europe quiet late. I have ordered then a few sight-unseen. As expected I went for the purples and plums, Desdemona, Phoebe and Callisto. I have reviewed two of them here. For a single eye shadow which comes rather expensive, I was not very convinced of the highly frosty/metallic finish. As a single I wouldn't use it. I ended up buying no more colors and the ones I have gotten moved unloved to the bottom of my drawer.

After I have seen that eight shades are being released in an eye shadow palette I considered to give it all a second go. I was lucky that none of the singles I have were in the palette as well, another thing which convinced me to pull the trigger.

Is it love? Is it like? Me and metallics how do we get along?
