Rescue Beauty Lounge Blogger 3.0 My Picks, Review & Swatches

The craziness of my week is going on as I am trying to finish everything before going to holiday. I hope your week is easier than mine and guess what? It is almost over, yay! Today I was talking to a colleague and said "Oh today is Friday, there is fish" and see it was only wishful thinking. Do you have the same effect, once you work too hard, you feel like it is Friday already at Wednesday or Thursday.

Yesterday I have seen that Rescue Beauty Lounge is having a free shipping worldwide. I believe it is only until tomorrow noon. Last time when I posted swatches of RBL, many asked me how to get hold of these in Europe. Rescue Beauty ships worldwide. It is $13.50 per shipping to Germany, so rather expensive if you are eyeing only one or two colors. So this is your chance if you have one or two shades in your wish list. A few of what I am about to show you may steal your heart!

Chanel Les 4 Ombres #254 Tissé D'Automne, Stylo Yeux Waterproof #918 Ardent for Les Automnales Collection Fall 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Count down started. Only four days left for my holiday and 3 days for my birthday. Right before I go there are some happy deliveries which are coming with me so that I can share with you throughout my holiday. Fall is my favorite make-up season and all the pieces are super exciting. Today it is about one of my favorite products I got to try out this season. I was just about to pass it because I am not big on khakis. I am so happy I haven't because it is more than a khaki quad. Today it is about Chanel Les 4 Ombres #254 Tissé D'Automne and its stunning combination with Stylo Yeux Waterproof #918 Ardent. Spoiler? You need them both!

Chanel Les Automnales Collection for Fall 2015, Eyes & Cheek Swatches & First Impressions

I hope you survived the first day of the week. They say starting is the half way to the finish, so now we are almost finished *wink wink*. On Sunday I will fly to holiday, I can't wait but I have to finish with documentation before quitting, boooh.

You might have seen that yesterday I shared some pictures of epic Chanel-heavy USA haul at Instagram and Facebook. Today I would like to write about my first impressions and show you some swatches. I started testing the eye products today so in a few days there will be full reviews. I will post about the nail polishes in a separate post. My haul concentrates on eye & cheek products since I have a strange habit of not buying lipsticks without trying. Considering that the collection will be out on the 10th of October in Germany, I will have to wait quite long before completing the look. I might just go ahead and get a few from abroad in the meanwhile.

Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow Ex-26 Yuuaoi (夕 蒼) for Fall 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Happy Sunday everyone! Today the weather is beautiful, it is not too warm and sunny, also not so humid thanks to yesterday's wind. I was dreaming of enjoying a cup of coffee at the balcony. I then found out there is only one coffee capsule left. I was being extra careful while placing it in the machine because sometimes if I don't place it properly, it mixes with too much water and doesn't taste good enough to drink. After all the effort I put in there, I was thinking something else (about all the job changes and stuff) while reaching for the sugar cup, just to find out that it was empty. I sighed and opened another cupboard to get some sugar to fill in. Guess what I have done to the last coffee capsule, I flavored it with salt by mistake! AGGHH! *punches herself while drinking salty coffee*. Now I am trying to convince myself that there is chocolate with salt so why not coffee right? Right?

Alright back to today's beauty. After going crazy over the burgundy quad from Suqqu Fall 2015 Collection (reviewed here) which is going to be permanent in line, today I would like to show you the limited edition quad from the same collection. Please welcome Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow Ex-26 Yuuaoi.

Teoxane Perfect Skin Refiner & R[II] Eyes RHA Advanced Eye Contour, Review

Yay for the weekend! Today it is very windy here which feels much better than yesterday which was sticky super warm and humid. I am trying to start finish the documentation at work since I have only a week and a few more days left. I will fly to my yearly beach holiday next weekend and I didn't get anything prepared for that one either. It all looks like a lot of work so I will see what I can get done.

I have been to the half yearly Beauty Press Event in the beginning of June. It was my first time there and I really like and appreciate the idea of bringing the brands and bloggers together for information exchange. There were around 50 bloggers and 13 brands. The brands had stands and representatives who introduced us to their new product lines.

Teoxane was a brand I was familiar with before the event. Some of their products were in my " super curious to try" wish list. The brand is known by their patented ingredient called RHA, Resilient Hydraulic Acid. It is originally developed for injection but now also available in their creams and serums.  I was provided two of the products from their line to try out, Perfect Skin Refiner and RHA Advanced Eye Contour. After testing them over a month, here are my thoughts.

Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow 20 Kaoribara (香薔薇) and Gel Eyeliner Pencil Ex-01 Bordeaux for Fall 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I am super excited to share today's post and the upcoming two more posts about Suqqu Fall 2015 Collection. I have started testing Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow 20 Kaoribara last weekend. Then what happened is that I couldn't stop testing! There are a few more items that need to be photographed from other Fall Collections as well as Suqqu but the bordeaux/burgundy hues, they are too stunning to go past it. So I decided to stay there and enjoy. I came up with two different looks which I would like to share with you today as well. Hope you enjoy them.

Matching to the palette, I also have one of the new Suqqu Gel Eyeliners in limited edition color Bordeaux. This is a new product at Suqqu Line-up so I am excited to share my thoughts on that as well. Right after the *jump*.

Alaia Eau de Parfum holds on to the dreams (Review & Photos)

Hundreds of perfume are released each year, yet only a few of them are expected so eagerly, awaited for so long with such level of anticipation. Decades later La Maison Alaïa releases their first fragrance for women. The brand's founder, Azzedine Alaïa is known for his perfectionism and his strong ties to his freedom from which he never compromises, to the degree that he is known to hold fashion shows only when he has something to show. He is said to steer away from things that make money just to make money, it-bags, shoes, perfumes. Now holding the heavy glass flacon in my hand and admiring all its glory, I can't wait to tell you how this turned out to be after years of creative phase and an approval from the most unusual board of experts.

Burberry Nail Polish #205 Khaki Green, #206 Cadet Green and #299 Poppy Black, Review, Swatch & Comparison

Wish you all a happy Sunday. Here the weather now gone completely crazy. It is super hot and humid but suddenly starts raining heavily. Once it does, it is like hell outside for half an hour, then the sun comes out and it is very hot again. I am not loving this but the flowers in the balcony, they seem to love it. My never ending document filling out sessions going on and I feel super lazy and unmotivated to do any kind of sports. Especially with this weather the only thing I can imagine doing is to swim.

I am going on with my fall make-up reviews. Although none of us feel especially autumny at the moment it is nice to see what is coming up and start making a wish list. Burberry releases their autumn nail polishes during Autumn/Fall 2015 Runway in February/March. I ordered these back then and forgot that I did. Sometime late April I was like "Wait a minute, where is my order after all?". Then I called them to find out that these are "made to order" parts and may take up to 3 months! Not to mention that I already paid fully in February and my "made to order nail polishes" were sent sometime in June! *insert a terrified face here*. I only had good experience from Burberry Online Shop until then. After this experience though, I don't think I will order from the particularly early releases. What is a made to order nail polish? Are they mixing it by hand just for me?

Regardless how long it took me to get the items, the shades are very pretty. Especially for green/khaki lovers. Three of the shades which come in this nail trio are: Burberry Nail Polish #205 Khaki Green, #206 Cadet Green and #299 Poppy Black. Here are my notes after trying them out.

MAC Dazzleshadow Boom Boom Room, Let's Roll for Le Disco, Review, Swatch & FOTD

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Mine is quite busy because hubby is away so I have some more work to do at home but also I have to fill out thousand pages of documents for the new job. A little hint here, I will be working for the government. When the contract arrived, my eye balls jumped out of my skull, really, you can't imagine how many forms and how many questions it takes to get a governmental position. I have to make my way through those until Tuesday *sigh*.

Then I went for shopping, got some more pink champagne which I am sipping while I write these lines. I also purchased one more MAC Dazzleshadow although I was trying to stop myself from doing it. Two of these I purchased earlier are today's topic and it is a mixed bag so why take risk then right? It must be because they are so gorgeous... Let me show you Boom Boom Room and Let's Roll.

Dior Addict Fluid Shadow 025 Magnetic, 275 Cosmic for Fall 2015, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful week! I am super busy with things I am trying to conclude before leaving job. Also the new contract arrived today, which needs some (major!) explanation here and there. In between all I am trying to show you as many Fall Make-up as I have but it is again almost 40°C.  As I reach my forehead, the makeup on my chin already melts *sigh*. But... I have super excited stuff coming up, just saying ;-)

Before super excited stuff arrives *giggle* I am making my way through Dior Fall Make-up Collection. Apart from the cheek sticks, one of the nail polishes and a gorgeous lipstick, this collection didn't knock me off my feet. I was testing the new Dior Addict Fluid Sticks and trying to understand if I love them. Could I decide after all? Right after the jump...

Skincolor de La Mer The Radiant Concealer Review & FOTD

What a wonderful day! I received some great news today in the morning and the day already started good. Right after more news, some beauty related made my day truly something worth a small bottle of champagne I am planning to enjoy tonight. How's your day been?

Today I have the famous concealer of La Mer for you. I was very interested to try it out for a long time since I heard many great things about it. When I got my hand on one, I posted a pic at Instagram and some said it is their holy grail concealer and some said it was drying on them. I was even more curious after I read the mixed comments and went on a journey to solve this mystery. Did Skincolor de La Mer The Radiant Concealer work on my very dry under eye area? Right after the jump...

Dior 5 Couleurs Cosmopolite #866 Eclectic for Fall 2015, Swatch, Review, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you are all having a great weekend. Saturday is almost gone, gone! *sniff sniff* But let's concentrate on the half- full side, there is a beautiful Sunday coming up, yay. Close to our place there is a light festival tonight. We are not trying to figure out if we can still make it. Probably not as it has been already quite late. In Germany everything closes super early. This one is until 12 although it gets dark only at 10:30. There is an hour and half time to see the beautiful lights they installed in the park. Almost all the festivals finish at 12:00. even Octoberfest!

On a side note have you already entered my give-away for a $100 gift card to get the pretty charms your heart desires? Check it out here. It runs only until tomorrow night.

Now back to the topic. I already posted the first impressions and swatches of Dior Cosmopolite collection. Despite the weather, I tested these not summer appropriate smoky metallics last week. I would like yo share my thoughts with you this week. Let me start with the eye shadow palette Dior 5 Couleurs Cosmopolite #866 Eclectic.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick in Restless for Kendall Jenner, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

It is almost weekend, how exciting! How was your week? On this side of the monitor everything is moving super fast, my early termination of the contract is approved by the human resources department. I will be taking a little more than 3 weeks of holiday in the beginning of August. I plan to use it fully as a beach holiday. On the first of September I will start the new job, which I will tell you very soon. Waiting for the contract ;-)

There is a brand new cheerful lipstick release which is flying off the shelves. In Germany it is online exclusive and currently looks like it is sold out in less than a couple of days. Our post was on strike so the package arrived me later than expected. I hope it can still be purchased elsewhere.  Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte Lipstick in Restless is designed for the muse of Estée Lauder, Kendall Jenner. It looks fabulous on her medium complexion with warm undertones. Here is a quick review and a few comparison swatches in case you are eyeing it.

Narciso EdT by Narciso Rodriguez, Review & Photos

I am so glad that the "weather from hell" left here. No more melting foundation, breaking lipsticks, patchy concealers and sweaty brushes! To me make-up is like mediation in the morning. I have about half an hour dedicated to make-up, during when I don't think about anything else but which blush to apply to match the lipstick. The last two weeks have been a struggle to get anything stay on my face although I didn't give up trying. I gave a few products which I haven't used before a try, such as Hourglass Primer. Although usually Chikuhodo GSN-01 is too scratchy for my taste, but needed a goat mix to combat the sweat. Do you think goats sweat and squirrels don't?

Back to the topic shall we? Although I have already started with Fall make-up reviews, I am in the mood for summer. Last year marked the introduction of a new fragrance line for women by Narciso Rodriguez. I have previously reviewed Narciso Eau de Parfum. I enjoyed this modern interpretation to Gardenia theme during Fall and Winter. After the weather started warming up, I didn't reach for it all that often. Narciso EdP has a good projection on me so I felt like it would be too much for a warm day. Now that the brand offers an EdT as well and tunes it to be a fresher and subtler version, I am in. Today I would like to share thoughts about the new Narciso juice with you.

Dior Fall 2015 Cosmopolite Collection, Swatches & First Impression

I hope you are having a wonderful week. Today I received all clear for the early termination period so I can start the other job on time, first of September that it. After working over 10 years in this company, it is hard to believe that I will be leaving in just a few weeks time. Scary but I am super excited.

I caught an early bird purchasing opportunity and got my hands on some pieces from Dior Fall 2015 Collection. I haven't had the chance to select what I was buying so I can't call these "My Picks". You can tell because I would probably never go for the silver eye shadow. I will be reviewing them in detail after using them a few times as I always do. Today I would like to post quick swatches for those who are as excited as I am.

#blogstokiss 6 Hot Pinks for a perfect kiss on the 6. July International Kissing Day

I hope you all had a great start in the week. I am still trying to find out if I can leave work before the given term of notice, which is in my case three months. For the ones who wonder, I am totally changing my direction and won't be seeking an employment by another company. This is not all about getting more money or a position at all. I will write more about that in another post, but for now hoping (praying) that the termination works on time.

On another note, today is the International Kissing Day. Happy Kisses! I don't know how it is being celebrated elsewhere but with fellow bloggers we agreed upon #blogstokiss posts for today. We all write about our most loved lipsticks and formulas. I have a link to the other reviews at the end of this post, go and show them some love too.

I would like to talk about six of my favourite formulas in my favourite shade for summer, hot pink!

Tom Ford Lip Color Matte #15 Electric Pink & #16 Velvet Violet, Review, Swatch, Comparison & FOTD

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday we drove to Strasbourg for a lovely afternoon and dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. I stocked on Bioderma Sensible H2O 500ml bottles as usual. At French Pharmacies these come in packages of two which cost the same as one in Germany. I also wanted to get a face wash for dry skin and ended up with a Canadian Brand, more about that soon. Dinner went well apart from my fish which was not properly cooked the first time around. Everything else was perfect. As sorry as I am for the ducks, I enjoyed some Foie Gras as a started.

The weather is going stable at almost 40°C and it is impossible to get any base on the face. Everything ends up melting. I am so mad at myself about not purchasing the MAC's new waterproof foundation yet. I will definitely check it out tomorrow. For the time being I enjoy a bare face and no make-up look.

A few months ago, Tom Ford extended their Lip Color Matte line with two new lipsticks. When I saw the name of these, I could hardly wait to get my hands on them. They are exactly my type of colors, Electric Pink and Velvet Violet. *happy sigh*

Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis Cologne Absolue Review

I hope you are all having a beautiful weekend. Here it is one of the warmest times of the year at the moment. We are supposed to see 40°C and it might be a record. Since I am working in an air conditioned office (due to change soon), I didn't recognize how bad it is during the day. Now that I am home, oh well... But... we will be driving to Strasbourg France today, so that I can stock on Bioderma, check out Sephora. That is now a proper celebration of the new job by having dinner in one of out favorite restaurants in Strasbourg. I post about it at Instagram tonight.

I thought since today will be a day in France, why not go with something French which I enjoyed during the last days when it became really hot here. Atelier Cologne is known with their unique citrus creations. I have one of them for you today, Pomélo Paradis Cologne Absolue.

Kevyn Aucoin Eyeshadow Duos, 204 Gold Frosted Leaf, 205 Rose Gold/Iced Plum, Review, Swatch & FOTD

Hi everyone. I hope you all have a great start in the weekend. I am a little silent on this end because of all the things which are happening about the job front. Today I told my boss about the fact that I am leaving. You know what he said? Nothing! I am working for that guy over five years and this proves why I am leaving right? Anyway, I am so ready to close this book and open a new page. Can anyone relate?

Lately I snagged some items from lovely Martha's Blog Sale. Two of the items were Kevyn Aucoin Duos. I have one more at home which I purchased some time ago from Cult Beauty. I will review that one soon as well. The color pay off and texture of these duo are really one of the best in the market. The shade combinations are lovely as well. Only their names are a little longer and confusing. Today I have #205 Rose Gold/Iced Plum and #204 Gold Frosted Leaf/Auburn Shimmer to show you.
